Hello dear everyone,

I just stumbled across this forum searching for some answers re some things that have happened in my life in the past year and I think I'd need a million of years to read all the knowledge gathered here!

I have no astrological background, I know a very tiny little bit about houses, planets, aspects, and that's about it (knowing about it doesn't mean knowing it!), talking about western astrology or Placidus. I would love to have the knowledge but I'm not sure I have the talent, so me registering to this forum is also to get some answers, which I hope knowledgeable people might provide.

English is not my first language but I think I'm quite fluent in it.

I want to say hello to everybody on this forum and thanks in advance for the knowledge I'm about to receive here:smile:

our TRADITIONAL ASTROLOGY ONLY board
is at
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum...splay.php?f=92

For discussions on Traditional Astrology only.
Note: Typically, traditional astrology is defined as using techniques developed prior to 1700 by astrologers from the Hellenistic, Persian, Hebrew, and Renaissance eras.
Specifically it relies on Ptolemaic aspects sextile, trine, square, opposition and conjunction
and excludes modern planets Neptune, Uranus and Pluto
non-Ptolemaic aspects, as well as any asteroids.
The focus is less on what would be considered modern psychological chart interpretation
and more on prediction.
Members who wish to explore a combination of traditional and modern ideas
should feel free to start a new thread in an appropriate forum for further discussion.

our MODERNIST ASTROLOGY ONLY board
is at https://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=95
For discussions on Modern Astrology only.
Note: Typically, modern astrology is defined as using techniques developed around the late 1800s by Theosophists.
Specifically it relies on psychological, evolutionary, karmic, and non-western interpretation approaches
and includes Neptune, Uranus and Pluto
and non-Ptolemaic aspects.
The focus is more on psychological chart interpretation instead of prediction.

Dear JupiterAsc,

Thank you for replying and providing some useful links. I'm overwhelmed with all the information, I just started reading book by March and McEvers but I had some partial interpretations done in the past.

I'm aware of people here writing things in their free time, I understand people need to do things for their living too. I just want to say that I would be willing to consult a great astrologer and pay for their service of course (which wouldn't break my bank) but it's difficult to find one in the area I'm currently interested in - fertility, own children. I would also love to get a thorough and well, of course, on point analysis of the natal chart:smile:, so if it is allowed to suggest anyone, suggestions are of course welcome. If I'm possibly breaking the rules here, please ignore this and let me know.

Thank you!

Have fun while you Research, Study and Vigilantly Practice!

these are instructions
HOW TO ATTACH A CHART
TO YOUR POST ON THE FORUM

https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/traditional-astrology

MOBILE
1) Once you generate the chart image using your favourite website, copy the image address
2) Upload the image to Imgur using the following URL:

https://imgur.com/upload
3) Once the chart is uploaded to Imgur, click on 'Copy' or 'Embed Post'
4) Paste the Imgur image location to forum post

Quote:
DESKTOP
1) Once you generate the chart image using your favourite website, copy the image address
2) Click on the Attachment icon (if you don't see it, select 'Advanced' posting first)
3) New window will open, paste the image address, click Upload button, close the window

if that is for some reason not possible
then
another option is, after creating the natal chart
then save the chart to your desktop
then when on the thread click to edit your post
then scroll down to the Attach Files box
then click on Manage Attachments
and follow the instructions on the screen to upload your chart that way

ours is an astrological learning forum members practice astrological skills free

with little or no experience but keen to learn by practice
Indeed
members sometimes discuss interpreting their own charts to learn by practice

clearly we also have members with many years of astrological study completed

I would suggest it may not be the most prudent idea to give one's real name or physical location
on forums like this for reasons of privacy and personal safety.

Not to frighten you, but since this is the internet, advise you not to use anything resembling your real name or to geolocate yourself; in other words, as much as possible, be X from ZYX.
Please do not give out personal information. No one here has a right or need to ask you to.
