Brexit - will England succeed in leaving the EU?
Looking at the forensic event chart for London June 23, 2016 at 10pm when the election polls are to close in London....we might be able to determine the outcome of the Brexit election for England....
According to forensic astrology the ASC here would represent England and the EU the Cancer DC. This corresponds with what we already know about England and its Dec.25th 1066 signing of the of the Magna Carta. The Capricorn vs. Cancer ASC /DC also often indicative an older vs. younger opponent - with England as the older and EU the newer, younger opponent.
In the chart we see Pluto closely conjunct the Capricorn ASC.
This indicates that sudden and forceful change is coming to the people of England. While chart co-ruler Aquarius Moon in 1st suggests that - freedom & individuality - may be the key issues for the people in the election.
Home - Taurus 4th house ruler Venus in 6th suggests work at home is also an issue.
But 4H ruler Cancer Venus is under the Suns beams - a threatening sign for homeland and work perhaps? And Mars in the 10th conj MC suggests that an angry goverment leader sextiling the Cap ASC has an influence on the people, or agrees with their perspective.

Yes, thats interesting...because the chart is difficult to read as it suggests both possibilites..with chart co-ruler Aqua Moon (chart co-ruler) representing the English as well as the EU (ruler of Cancer 7H)
The outcome therefore isn't easy...? The chart does suggest however that whatever the outcome, it will be dramatic for England.

So Saturn represents the Asc, UK. And Cancer Desc would be represented by the Moon. The Moon is in a separating sextile to Saturn---so the beneficial relations between them may be coming to an end?

Youre using the time the polls close. Some astrologers claim that time of opening polls worked better in the past

So, here with an election and astrologers trying to determining the results of that election - the facts of the event would exist after the polls close, and not when they just open.

Well traditional astrology gives priority to inceptions. The beginning of things whether a birth, business, contest, question or the founding of a city or country. But actually I do use the close of poll chart as a key transit chart to national charts or nativities. The end of poll chart does look a bit like a zombie apocalypse with Pluto on the ASC and Mars on the MC (like the Aries Ingress).

Hi Inline,
If you cast the chart for 7:00 AM when the polls open, the Moon is in H8, which is a House of Endings, and the Moon's last aspect was a square with Uranus posited in H10 and a sextile to Mars in H5 (using Whole Sign Houses).

Well it looks like the forensic chart was pretty accurate!
Hi AJ Astro, yes very interesting that with whole houses the prediction is also leaving. In forensic astrology however, there hasn't been much research with whole signs.
We use the Placidus system for the timing of an event -which is the key for an interpretation. It is the angles that are the most important - for information gathering about a specific time.
And it is only the four angles and their rulers and depositors that then looked at..so that the 1,4,7,and 10 houses become the core of an interpretation.
If however, the rulers are located in other houses - then that gives more, additional information toward the analysis.

This is interesting. I posted another thread with the chart for the results announcement, with a Cancer asc. I did think of the polls closing one. Maybe there will be a third for when we officially leave. Take a look at my thread if you get a moment.
Regarding the chart, Ayrton Senna had a Virgo 8th house north node, could it mean martyrdom/greatness and death. He also had a Scorpio Midheaven. Be interested to see where the vertex is. I wonder about fortune too, Gemini in the fourth, that would seem to indicate the importance of national conversation and flexibility, possibly journalism that sees both sides, in a lesson from before the polls closed.

Re: Brexit - will England succeed in leaving the EU?
Well, we are on the eve of a 'no deal Brexit'.....and looking at the event chart, that is exactly what will happen...!
Majority of planets below the horizon = unfinished business
Mercury ruler of DC conjunct Neptune = younger other/partner lied to?
Sun conjunct IC = power waiting/controlling(?) the outcome
Mars in 6th = the military is engarde
It's hard to believe that government chose this closing date unaware of the influences acting that day. Was this date, March 29th 2019 chosen on purpose?
Was the plan all along to have a no deal Brexit?

On Monday lawmakers will try to agree on an alternative Brexit plan
that could command majority cross-party support.
The options that have so far gathered most support
involve closer ties to the EU and a second referendum
option of a customs union would be difficult to pursue
because it contradicts Conservatives’ pledges before the 2017 national election
and does not respect the outcome of 2016 Brexit referendum.
A letter sent to MAY by Conservative lawmakers is calling for her to resign.

Re: Brexit - will England succeed in leaving the EU?
Hello JupiterASC & Darkgirl
Yes, the outcome of the Mar.29th Brexit deadline as predicted signalled unfinished business....!
Looking at the new date for a final Brexit of May 22nd 2019 using the closing time of 23.59pm - (and not 23.00pm which suggests more unfinished business)- there could be a deal....
Cap ASC ruler Saturn in 1st house - conjunct Cancer DC ruler Cap Moon
The Nodes conjunct the angles - a planned decision
Rulers Saturn/Moon/Pluto conjunct SN - an explosive old relationship looking toward a future relationship (7H NN)?
Jupiter in 11th house - supportive Church
4H Sun conjunct Mercury - Royal family + documentation related to roots
IC ruler Taurus Venus conjunct Uranus in 3H - positive neighbours & modern communications
If the May 22nd final Brexit date can be coordinated with a closing time closer to midnight - the outcome looks possible for a deal....!
However, if time is one hour earlier at 23pm....the danger of an explosive and destructive no deal could be the result.

What about tomorrow?
Is there a possibility that UK will find a soft solution or will it be tomorrow in Brüssel a hard brexit on the meeting of EU?

Re: Brexit - will England succeed in leaving the EU?
.... it looks like Brexit will happen and there will be a deal, at least that's how I'm seeing it!
…using Luley’s 'Forensic Astrology' method, which can also be used for predicting events as well, one determines whether-or-not the Brexit chart (for Oct. 31, 2019 at 11.59pm, London) is viable - by looking for something in the chart that correlates with the facts:
- the Brexit chart bears a strong resemblance to the original 1993 EU chart (attached below) with both charts having Leo rising and chart rulers Sun conjunct IC.
- the Brexit chart also appears to represent a EU versus Britain chart – with Leo ASC for the EU and the DC ruler Saturn conjunct Pluto representing a Brexit Britain's new Scorpio Sun.
…So, it appears according to Luley’s approach, that the Brexit event chart (below) is viable and we can proceed…
So, looking at the Brexit chart for Oct. 31, 2019 at 11.59pm in London one sees:
1) the Brexit chart’s ruler Sun with Leo ASC (and Leo ASC representing the EU) has just entered the 3H of neighbors.
2) the chart's Scorpio Mercury stationed indicates a powerful contract is conjunct 10th house (representing government) ruler Venus – appearing to indicate ‘an agreed or agreeable signing’....and both planets are located in the 4th house of roots and endings.
3) the chart's DC (representing Brexit Britain) ruler Saturn is conjunct Pluto - representing the new Brexit Britain Scorpio Sun and is located in the 5H (of celebrations with Sag Jupiter) just before midnight.
4) the chart's DC co-ruler Uranus is located in 9H and according to Luley the 9H represents the outdoors - so the chart appears to be showing the younger British generation waiting (or protesting?) outside.
Therefore...putting the points together, it appears that the Brexit chart could indicate a last minute deal made with the EU, and that Brexit will be done.
But the chart's stationed Mercury soon turns retrograde after signing - indicating a quick return to negotiations - and according to Luley's timing approach , the negotiations continue for maybe 20 more years....

Bump.....
If the EU and Britain (and the DUP) agree a deal and Brexit is done on the 31st, the chart interpretation is right, and it is proof again that Caroline Luley's forensic astrology approach does work - as well for prediction of event charts as searching for missing persons....
