Am i overthinking ?

Hello astrology lovers! This topic is very serious to me because I feel like it's something I've struggled with for as long as I can remember, especially with friendships, relationships or even relations with the outside world via social media (even social forums such as this!). I'm really into discussions about almost anything! but i'm very much someone you would call a introverted extrovert :unsure:

The point i'm trying to make is, I love socialising but... I hold back on many opportunities to do so. I lose out on many opportunities on giving great advice on subjects due to my fear of saying the wrong thing, not knowing where to even start or how to compose to message in the first place.

I was really curious on if this constant fear is coming from something much deeper that i'm not noticing in my chart or i'm just once again overthinking like I always do! ( honourable mention: I have only been into astrology for close to year now and still learning so any interpretations are appreciated )

I would really love if anyone could identify anything with my placements or aspects that could be an explanation to this :smile:

You have the most extreme concentration of energy in the 12H that I've ever seen, including your Sun and Saturn. Somehow your Geminis are in conflict with your 12H's desire to stay hidden. Saturn in 12H also triggers irrational fear that you can't explain. Coupled with Jupiter there your fear is enlarged. Sun/Venus/Mars also opposite Pluto and Chiron. You are extremely guarded as to how much a random person know about you.



Your chart ruler is in moody Cancer, and is unaspected. You are concerned with present yourself as an intelligent person but at the same time feel disconnected to your intellectual ability. Do you describe yourself as shy and emotional?

Even though you have a gemini ascendent, its ruler mercury is in timid cancer. Cancer will withdraw into its protective shell at the first sign of contrast or attack, it moves obliquely but quickly!
In addition, mercury, which is your communications, is not in aspect in the chart, so there is no other energy pushing it out, it stands alone, stranded and hoping to not be noticed!
As gemini 888 says, you have a remarkable accumulation of energy in the 12 house, which adds to making you withdrawn, introspective, rather closed. But also probably psychic.
Lucky the one who finds the key to enter your inner self, for whom you will open up your heart and soul!

Thank you for this, I found this really informative and actually held a lot of relatable knowledge for me. I am very familiar with my conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter but I will admit, I haven't done much research on that aspect to realise how much it must be effecting me, so I appreciate you bringing that more to light.

Secondly, the point you made about my Sun/Venus/Mars all being in opposition to my Pluto is interesting, you stated that i'm extremely guarded about random people knowing to much about me and I couldn't agree with that more and my Sun Opposite Pluto can vouch for that. This aspect gives me an ego I hate having, I always want to come across as if i'm independent, nonchalant and as if I have it all together, when deep down that's all a facade. I'm in fear of people knowing that behind all of that, i'm actually quite not all that together.

On the more positive note, I have come to notice how much I really am a Mercury Cancer person more and more everyday and I can tell you that I admire this placement even on other people BUT I will say my thinking is influenced by my emotions (very water sign lol) which doesn't benefit my fear. To answer your question, I can in most cases be very shy, HIGHLY emotional and my feelings are easily hurt. Overthinking my interactions with anyone before they even happen is a common theme with me and I react in the worst way emotionally if they go wrong.

I really loved this response so thank you first of all, I know how hard it might be to pin point the good things about a 12H person but your last sentence is really one of the several beautiful factors that can come out of this house.

As I mentioned in my response to Gemini888, I definitely feel like due to my Mercury Cancer being its own force, I have noticed it being an exceedingly strong influence on my character. I will mention though that while I was looking at my aspects, I saw that the only one my Mercury had (other than potentially being a conjunction to my asc) was an opposition to my Black Moon Lilth in Capricorn (located in the 7th house), not entirely sure if that has any significance but since the the 7th house rules relationships, maybe it might have?

Going back to your point about my Mercury placement, I can say you're absolutely right... I am guilty of doing all the points you mentioned. You would think having a Gemini Asc would help balance and in all honesty it does sometimes, which i'm grateful for. Despite being the conservative Cancer Mercury that I am, my Asc allows me to be a bit more sociable than the average and does give me confidence especially when more comfortable around the person I am socialising with, that's why I feel so deeply towards my fear of missing opportunities in taking part and talking about subjects i'm interested in because I know within myself i'm more than capable.

Omg I love how informative this is!! thank you for using your time to search for all of this.

The health issues definitely got my attention the most because I knew that zodiac signs ruled certain body parts but I was never sure of mine! As of yet, I can't confirm this because I've had no health issues but knowing that i'm prone to everything you mentioned is helpful. Thank you

In terms of talents, very shocking also except for technology, I've always had an idea that I was good at that. Everything else, I would of never thought of pursuing!

What was really intriguing is that you mentioned me observing death anniversaries (thank you for exposing me lol! jk).. I find myself doing that a lot and what's weird is I find myself being interested in celebrities after they die due to feeling a weird connection towards death and an interest in it, I hope I explained that in a way that you understand, it's hard to put it into words.

But overall, this was really relatable. Thank you so much :love:
