For transits do you use whole sign or placedus?

IMO Thoughts of death are not unusual JayM - we all have thoughts of death, it's commonsense after all - that's because we are transient beings with limited lifespan so naturally we ponder over these questions frequently

Regarding which house system to use - that is entirely your choice - there are over forty house systems - fourteen of which are available on astro.com... so experiment.
