Astrolog at http://www.astrolog.org/astrolog.htm is an astrology program that's been freely available since 1991. It's newest version 7.20 offers a wide variety of classic and modern features, such as:
- Display all standard objects, along with any number of asteroids, dwarf planets, or other minor bodies.
- Planetary moons are a rich new development in astrology! Astrolog is the first astrology program to support moons of other planets.
- Dozens of house systems, including newer ones like 3D houses, sinusoidal houses, and balanced equal houses.
- Transits: Display transit lists, transit calendars, and orb graphs over time.
- Eclipses: Detect and graphically animate solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, and eclipses involving planetary moons.
- Graphical atlas with automatic time zone and Daylight Saving Time detection.
- Astrocartography: Display 2D maps, 3D globes, and even minor cusps.
- Space is 3 dimensional, and astrology should be too! Astrolog supports standard 2D wheel charts, and also 3D "chart spheres".
- Astrologers know the difference between signs and astronomical constellations. Astrolog can display and contrast both together.
- Astrology can be a tool for spiritual growth. Astrolog has a number of Esoteric Astrology features.
- Astrolog is 100% free, and even open source if you have programming knowledge and want to inspect or even modify its source code.
- Don't want to download anything? Astrolog or at least a subset of its features can be run in a browser on various sites.
