Mother's verbal/emotional abuse

Yes, I think she is having an effect on you. With Aquarius rising, Saturn as its traditional ruler represents you-- nearly spot-on the cusp of the 10th house. (Traditionally, the 10th rules the mother-- which also seems to fit here.)
With Sagittarius on the cusp of the 10th house, Mom is represented by Jupiter-- in the 7th house of open enemies. Jupiter applies to a square with Saturn, indicating a lot of friction.
On another thread you posted your natal chart, showing moon-Pluto in the 4th house of early childhood conditioning, which also suggests some trouble with Mom.
It would be nice if both you and Mom could go into family counseling together. If she is unwilling to do this, see if you can go on your own, to let go of her hurtful effects on you.
Mom may suffer from some internal "demons" that really have nothing to do with you, but this knowledge may not help much when you're in the line of fire. You deserve a life of joy and health, so take what steps you can not to take her criticisms to heart.
