There is both hot and cold anger. Taurus is cold, very cold, and there is something tempering in Taurus that there just isn't in Scorpio, which probably makes it more effective. A priority of other things than just one's own hurt feelings, probably.

Taurus is a fixed earth sign, so maybe the more fixed in the zodiac.
I think that this often makes this Mars maybe not much aggressive in a traditional sense, but very stubborn on its positions, tenacious in having things his own way, not giving up an inch of terrain.

Mars in Taurus will do things the hard practical way and is motivated by sensual gain. In face of aggression, imagine a bull stubbornly sitting down to the ground and say "go ahead, try forcing me; the more you do, the less I'll move!" They don't express anger towards someone elses actions readily but rather lets anger build up and when they finally release it, you'll be overwhelmed! If you give up on forcing them before the anger is released, they'll calm down and keep moving into their direction. However they'll not forget.

That's my observation of Mars in Taurus. :D

I've read (and observed) that Taurus mars can also mean they can get physically aggressive. It's mars energy (anger, sex, action) expressed through Taurus (physical/earthly energy, the body, etc).

I've seen this play out in excellent "homey" skills like crafts, knitting, gardening, cooking/eating, and a love of shopping. The flip side is getting physical when angry... .breaking things or the desire to physical!y inflict hurt.

Definitely a love of acquiring material possessions.

I noticed they all benefit enormously from physical release activities like massage, yoga, and exercise in general.

That's the case for the people I've known. What do you guys think? Sound familiar?

When truly on the brink i need to physically lash out, but if i do it can either be a 1 hit situation or i don't stop, if emotion is added i don't stop.

I love giving massages to my lady, anything that i can release my physical energy, sexually, sensually, it's good for me.

I don't know about acquiring posessions. It's more the act of creating, not the thing created. In which case you end up with so many things you made that you don't want and don't have a place for because you wanted to make them, but not have them...

Remind me to never have children.

LOL you really made my day with this comment. Well....if it is any consolation many many people, at least on occasion, prefer making children to actually having them, especially when those kids' Mars and Uranus start squaring your this and that and your well-meaning Saturnian effort gets accused of HATING them/ruining their life/being a terrible parent/not understanding. Then you square them with this and that and then...you know...they are SO sweet when they are asleep though :)

Seriously though, this thread just reminded me of the possibility that it is my Taurus 5th that made me shudder after the birth of my 1st when I realized that, sure the idea of being pregnant and attaining momhood was really cool and that I have now settled and attained the highest expression ...but what if I change my mind now??? What do I do with it NOW? Hahaha
Not sure how Mars in there would have played out since I was at times tempted to eat my offspring as it is. Glad my Mars was mostly elsewhere.

If you do end up with kids, do let us know how it plays out :)

My mother has Taurus Mars. In 9th. She uses it for cooking :) Was not too physical (in ANY way including actually walking UNLESS it involved shopping or at least window shopping obviously). She always tempered her anger though I did get smacked often when young. She is however Virgo rising and Mars gets a sextile from her Pisces Moon but there is no emotional over-response that would add passion to her anger in that sense. And Venus in intercepted Cap...she would do the silent treatment more.

Scorpio is a Feminine sign. It is a Water sign; all Water signs are feminine.

I also have Mars in Taurus. I have sometimes wondered why he is in his detriment there. I kinda like the way my martial energy expresses, whether at work, in a fight, or making love to a beautiful lady.
