north node (taurus) in my 8th house of relocation chart

First off, I'm about to move to Northern California in a couple weeks. I'm moving no matter what, I'm not basing my move on whether or not my relocation chart is in my favor--I'm just looking at it for fun and for a possible prediction.

In my relocation chart, I noticed my nn (taurus) is in my 8th house. Can anyone tell me what this may indicate? I was thinking that since the house represents transformation, rebirth, commerce, and fortune, that maybe it signifies a change in how I handle my finances and maybe some good luck with money? In recent years I've STRUGGLED with money and haven't been able to manage it. I also just filed for bankruptcy. On a deeper level, I also think it may indicate that I'm on the right path in terms of becoming a whole person and focusing on MYSELF entirely--my sn is Scorpio; I definitely invest all my time and energy into other people and trying to help them, rather than working on myself and my own priorities. My intense emotions tend to rule my life (I'm working on this).

If anyone notices anything else significant in the chart or wants to point anything out, please feel free.

Remeber the north node is about what you have to learn, where you have to grow, so by moving you could be forced to start learning how to handle money (that's true, though nodes aren't so much about luck soooo make your own!). The 8th house can be a very serious, heavy house, and the transformations that take place are on a very deep, spiritual level. The 8th house is naturally ruled by Scorpio, which is the sign your south node is in, so maybe there'll be some re-learning of old lessons? At any rate, good luck with your move!

Thank you very much, airgoddess  This is the first reply I've gotten in a week or so. I agree that this move will test/teach me in many ways, spiritually and financially. If anything, I think it'll be a positive thing. I'm looking forward to it but I'm my emotions are up and down because this whole trip involves leaving a boyfriend:crying: I'm trying to keep faith that if it's meant to be, we'll end up together down the road.

Well it doesn't seem that you are moving that far. It's important to assess the Angles in relocation charts and yours has changed for 0' scorpio to 0' Libra --- so more charm socialising being more diplomatic, paying more attention to your appearances and presentation etc.

so instead of having 'fixed' Angles to cardinal angles suggests more initiation of projects.

so moon and pluto move out of your shop window (angluar house) into 2nd 'succeedant house'

Houses: angular houses 1/7 4/10 the energies of planets placed here are obvious cos it's your 'shop window' visible for everyone to see. Next the succeedent houses 2/8 & 5/11 the energies in these houses are not in shop window the are in the shop, but stood behind the counter, ready to come out when needed. Lastly, cadent houses 6/12 & 3/9 these houses/planets are not in shop window or stood behind the counter, they are in the back storeroom and only come out when 'triggered' or an emergency and much harder to recognise and access...

The houses are like the backdrop of a stage, the setting if you like, the planets are like actors and the aspects are how the planets behave in that settings/stage....

then your stellium in Aquarius moves into your 4th house. So massive change on how or where you do anything creative, romantic, artistic will all be 'home roots' and this is where you will function best.

N Node as explained earlier is to do with Learning Lessons and 8th house is 'other peoples values & beliefs' as opposed to 2nd house of your own personal values and beliefs, self worth. As Pluto is opp N Node this suggests that your own self worth will be transformed after experienced, evaluating other peoples values and belief systems.

Hope this helps

In basic astrology , the North Node placement means where you will have to learn in order to bring success. It has similar effects of Jupiter. In the 8th house , that means you'll learn to be stable (Taurus) in moments of crisis(8th house) , also brings success in metaphysical endeveaours , finances (investments , other people's money , etc). Some astrologers considers the NN in the 8th house , could give long life.

Wow we have similar charts. My north node is Taurus in the 8th house. The whole Taurus in Scorpio House and Scorpio in Taurus house confuses the hell out of me. Crisis doesn't happen too often in my life when it does though I am very much like a Taurus (it's all about the familiar and comfortable). I'm learning more on how to not CREATE crisis and focusing more on HANDLING crisis as it comes.

But being a Sagittarius I have big dreams, goals with money and investing. Trying to find an inner balance to make all the right moves. I also have moon, mercury, and pluto in scorpio I view everything like a crisis and it drives me crazy but I'm learning to not react on those impressions but create better impressions that aren't so intense.

Anyway just thought I'd share and again the Taurus in Scorpio House and Scorpio in Taurus House confuses the hell out of me!
