Saturn conjunct South Node

Has anyone had another personís Saturn conjunct their SN? What was it like? It sounds like a heavy karmic aspect...

Re: Saturn conjunct South Node

It is. If it's in the synastry between birth charts, usually two people are quick to get together but something always tends to happen to ruin the relationship. When it happens between two charts via transit or progression one person gradually (very very slowly) drifts away from the person. It's one of those things where it happens so slowly and so many things happen that just force this unbridgeable gap between two people that the only outcome is growing apart. Unfortunately the bond is lasting, so even once they aren't close anymore there is still that weird karma of something more that never goes away. It hurts less as time goes on, though.

It's a difficult aspect in a relationship because there's nothing anyone can do to stop it. It's like an outside force that has power over it.
