Via Combusta

Is it significant in horary astrology only? Or can it be important in natal astrology too? I've searched the web, but the only thing that comes up is horary astrology. So I'm slightly confused.
My Moon is in 14.51 degrees Scorpio, so it is in the Via Combusta. Does this have a meaning or is it just something that doesn't matter?
I read somewhere that planets in the Via Combusta can refer to karma. True or not? Does my Moon placement mean I have huge karma?
Or should I just ignore it?

I think it was just a part of traditional astrology. Because astrology was forgotten for two centuries and then resurrected in the 19th century by Alan Leo and others who came out with a new approach and new concepts, an important part of the astrological knowledge is just history for the modern natal astrology.
Unless you approach the natal chart the traditional way, I'd say forget about Via Combusta in natal astrology. You can't mix water and oil.
