Appropriate remedies and divisional charts

When determining what remedies would be appropriate, do you take into account placements of the planets in the navamsa and/or various divisional charts?

I guess it should not make much difference because in vedic astrology each ascendent has different malefic and benefic planets. Benefics can always be strengthened by wearing their stone. And malefics should not be strengthened - instead they should be "pacified" by providing service to the people signified by that planet. For example saturn is supposed to be a malefic for cancer ascendents, so regardless of its position in the divisional charts, it should not be strengthened - instead the person should provide selfless service to elderly ailing poor people in order to "pacify" saturn.
