Frawley states, “Aspects cannot be formed if they are in the wrong sign” regarding horary.
If I have Mars in 1 Capricorn and Venus in 28 Gemini, would this be considered an opposition? Technically, it would be an opposition only if Venus was in Cancer. And since Mars is generally faster than Venus, an aspect would not form in the next sign. (Maybe if the planets were reversed, i.e. Mars in Gemini and Venus in Capricorn, Mars could move from Gemini to Cancer and form opposition with Venus in Capricorn)
