sorry if I am posting in wrong places. sooo many places offered.

does anyone know when mountain war time changed to plain mountain time?
or said another way, when war time ended? did all war time zones end at same time, ie central time, mountain time etc?

need to know as what time zone affects birth time...and if its war time (back in the 40's my dears) daylight savings (when did that really start the first time?) or "ordinary time"...
anyone know?
