The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

I have decided to create a thread to post each Astroflash! New Moon Report from Hand Clow 2012, beginning with the report of the Aquarius New Moon, which took place on February 17, 2007.

Quote:
Aquarius New Moon: February 17, 2007 View Chart

This February's New Moon continues the theme of many recent New Moons occurring in the late degrees of a sign that immediately thereafter move into the following sign, in this case Pisces. This unusual and significant pattern opened with the solar eclipse in 29 Virgo just before the 2006 Fall Equinox on September 23, and it closes next month with a solar eclipse in Pisces on March 18 just before the 2007 Spring Equinox. Thus, we are being stretched to the max to experience the most advanced energies of the mature spiritual aspects of Virgo through Pisces; the eclipses enshrine this deep quest. Since eclipses happen when the New or Full Moons occur close to the lunar nodes, we are being asked to pay special attention to these lunar nodes.

In case we might miss the point of this meaningful dance in the sky, Jupiter in Sagittarius is exactly squaring the lunar nodes during the Aquarius New Moon. This square signals a great karmic crisis over being free to access spirituality versus being able to access spirit only by means of organized religions. We are being called to take control of our own frequency patterns. It is time to expand our spiritual keenness, in this case during the New Moon in the advanced degrees of Aquarius, with Neptune and Chiron also in Aquarius, and Mercury, Uranus, North Node, and Venus in Pisces. Uranus in Pisces is moving closer and closer to a conjunction on the North Node, reminding us that true spiritual immersion in the universe is available when we can use Piscean powers-which the lunation will begin to release a few hours later when the Moon goes into Pisces.

The New Moon in late Aquarius closely sextiles Pluto on the Galactic Center (GC) in late Sagittarius. This means the discovery of our destiny-our gift for the universe-involves the death of old beliefs. Pluto transiting the GC during 2006-07 is shattering old patterns by increasing Earth's frequency ranges, which is affecting all organic life and the weather. Yet, because the Moon goes quickly into Pisces with the Sun following the next day, we need to access the feeling of wider frequency-ranges during the New Moon. Our minds will not be able to detect these new boundaries until the Spring Equinox, but our feelings can during the New Moon. Imagine this: A very spiritual monk is meditating and sees the total meaning of all life in the universe. He or she is astonished by this vision, yet knows it must rest inside for a while to allow it to permeate every cell in the body. Patience must be our path this month. This New Moon chart is a map of extraordinary revelation, and it is important to notice all the synchronicities going on during this month because they will point out your new pathway while these new revelations mature within.

The wisdom coming in now is totally on the karmic level. But, what exactly does that mean? It means that everything that occurs in the day-to-day world is revealing deeply hidden past knowledge, and we are all involved in this awakening. Jupiter in Sagittarius exactly squaring the lunar nodes announces that a personal karmic crisis will emerge for each person during this New Moon, especially since Uranus in Pisces is close to the North Node. These personal issues are loaded with important information: With the North Node and Uranus in Pisces, each one of you needs to recall the spiritual schools where you attained significant initiations and mastery in your past lives, because the expanding frequency ranges are reopening these files in Earth's electromagnetic field.

How do I do that, you may ask? Most of you have accessed various current and past teachers who have moved you, and you have feelings for this in your cells and DNA. It is time for you to go to your notes, books, teachers, and sacred sites to remember those feelings. It will not be hard to access these things because this kind of spiritual seeking is the natural work during the Sun in Pisces, while Jupiter squaring the nodes will push your attention in this direction. Meanwhile, the stress in the outer world is so intense that you have no other choice, especially with Uranus near the North Node. Bush-"I decide what we do because I am Commander-in-Chief"-is obviously going to keep on pushing the world to the edge of disaster. Yet, his version of reality is going to go farther and farther out of form. This is because there is an amazing Yod (Finger of God) in the New Moon chart that is going to activate past spiritual intensities within each person on the planet: Venus in Pisces sextiles Mars in Capricorn, and they quincunx Saturn retrograde in Leo, which makes Saturn in Leo into the Finger of God. Divine messages are written in your soul, and the dancers in the sky are about to trace them back into your mind.

Considering the Yod from Venus sextile Mars to retrograde Saturn in Leo, just in case that isn't enough energy to push us all into serious spiritual commitment, Neptune in Aquarius closely opposes the Finger of God (Saturn in Leo) for good measure. That is, Neptune in Aquarius-the search for ultimate spiritual transformation-is coming back to a second opposition (exact on February 28, 2007) to Saturn in Leo-maximizing ours wills and discipline in life. The first Saturn/Neptune opposition was during August/September 2006, when opposition to the global empire of endless warfare was building, which culminated in Bush's defeat at the polls in November. Now, the majority of people in the world cry for sanity and an end to war. This Yod, double activated by the Saturn/Neptune opposition, is going to hammer in new objectives and paths based on an outright rejection of the hated neocon agendas. Because Saturn is retrograde until April 19, 2007, these changes may not be visible, but you will feel them. The Yod is asking you to learn how to identify the things you really know inside (for example, that war is untenable and that empire is the past), and then to learn their frequency patterns. You can broadcast these wider frequency patterns; you are now being asked to be a frequency broadcaster from your heart.

You know how to do this technique because you learned it during past spiritual trainings. For example, how do you think so many people knew that the Buddha and the Christ were teachers from the central creative force? We can feel the Christ and the Buddha in our hearts, and millions resonate with those feelings. Corrupt religions like Catholicism have not taken this core knowledge from your hearts, even though they have done the worst possible things to divert you. For a few thousand years, the heart of Christ drew people into rectories and churches, and what they got in there was physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual abuse! In other words, it is time for each one of us to identify that core knowledge in the heart, broadcast it, and pull it out of the structures that have falsely claimed it. We must resonate strongly with what we know, and broadcast our knowledge into the planetary religious structures in order to transmute them or collapse them. That is the power of this amazing Yod.

Why do I make such outrageous claims about what I see in this chart? Venus is exalted in Pisces, where it is the most loving feminine force in the cosmos, and Mars is exalted in Capricorn where it is the most potent masculine force. Just before the New Moon on February 12-15, Venus/Mars were forming a Yod to Saturn, all in 21 degrees, which maximized this configuration. Correctly using the powers of exalted femininity and masculinity in a sextile enables each one of us to move mountains by emitting the forces of love (Venus) and justice (Mars). Venus and Mars in perfect structural relationship push all their energy into Saturn retrograde in Leo, where Saturn inspires us to use our will power to claim spirit. The Pluto-in-Leo generation, born between 1938-1958, created revolutions during the 1960s. They struggled to tear the world away from the overly protective and fearful Pluto-in-Cancer generation born 1912-1937. The Pluto-in-Leo generation has sufficient power now to steer the world beyond nuking anybody in sight in order to create America as empire. Just wait to see what happens in April when Saturn goes direct in Leo! Of course, the evil powers that are killing our world right now could decide to change! Regardless, like a musical string twanging, Neptune in Aquarius (transformation of spirituality) is going to vibrate Saturn, while the exalted feminine and masculine forces keep people perfectly balanced. Saturn's rings will then vibrate new forms through the solar system.

When Saturn goes direct in April, Uranus will be exactly on the North Node, which means revolution is on the menu unless the evil forces change their ways. Mercury in Pisces is retrograde and close to Uranus, which will help us prepare for the revolutionary changes that are coming. Mercury retrograded at 10 Pisces on February 13; it goes direct on March 7; and it re-attains 10 Pisces on March 27, which will temper the neocon plans. The Moon will move quickly over Mercury, Uranus, the North Node, and Venus in Pisces right after the New Moon, then the Sun will rolls through Pisces and conjunct these planets. This means the Piscean or spiritual implications of what needs to be seen will be very hard to avoid. As we know, the fundamentalists of all stripes think the world is coming to an end, and they believe they must hasten this process so their various gods can return. Mercury and Uranus will conjunct on the North Node April 1, when a wave of justice will catalyze awareness of the dangers that fanatics have brought into the world. What a great April Fool's Day!

Since this New Moon chart is so intense, there may be unpleasant actions taken in desperation by the Bushites, such as attacking Iran. If things like this are going on, hold your mind on the clarity of the truths you know in your heart-and breathe. Do you know what happens when a large herd of pigs is drowning and they panic? As they try to swim, their forelegs slash their throats and they die in a mass, drowning in bloody water. Ultimately, that is what is going to happen to the powers that are trying to destroy the world, and remember these deaths may be emotional and mental. How will a healing happen? Mysteriously, Chiron in Aquarius is not aspected during this New Moon, as if each one of us must create a healing vibration never before seen. This is indeed an amazing New Moon.

Looking at the chart cast for Washington, DC, which means I can add house positions to the reading, all the planets in the tenth house (10) certainly catches my eye. This suggests we will see really desperate actions by the Bushites to retain their power because they have so much to lose if they get caught. Yet, unaspected Chiron is exact on the MC at 11 Aquarius of this chart, so I would say that means they won't get away with much (since their actions are so much against the building spiritual forces), which would be a healing for them and everybody else. Meanwhile, Venus in Pisces is in 11 suggesting that women gifting cultures will play major roles against unreasonable power, and they will use Mars in Capricorn in 9 to take this mess to a higher level. Jupiter and Pluto in Sagittarius are in 7, suggesting great changes coming from allies pulling away from hated agendas; for example, the British public may force Blair to step down. Libra/Aries are intercepted in 5/11 adding more hints that the empire will lose more allies. All of this is very karmic with Jupiter squaring the lunar nodes. Great changes are coming from feminine forces with Pluto on the Galactic Center in a square to Venus in Pisces.

This chart can also be thought of as a bucket chart, with all the planets in 9, 10, and 11 sending great force into Saturn retrograde in 4. Whatever goes on during this lunar month, it will make history. Saturn in 4 in this case means the deepest emotional forces around family, father, and home will take the brunt of the powers of the Yod from Venus/Mars and the opposition from Neptune. I think this suggests that military families may rebel against being used as mercenaries instead of soldiers. I think this winter will be remembered as the time when the tide turned against war and America as empire, yet this will be hard to see before Saturn goes direct in April. Many blessings, and use your great powers in your hearts to change the world.

Leo New Moon: August 12, 2007 View Chart

"It is the New Moon in Leo, the most creative and inspirational lunation of the year. Venus conjunct Saturn and Mercury are all in Leo close to the New Moon, and this configuration shouts, "We're alive during the magical time on Earth!" Also, this is the year of the advanced unifying synthesis according to Carl Calleman's time acceleration theory; this means it is time to co-create with Earth and remember how to be the Keepers of Nature. Remarkably, the 2007 New Moon in Leo expresses everything we need to know about how to co-create with Gaia. For example, the presence of Mercury in Leo so close to the New Moon-while exactly opposite the midpoint between Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius-suggests that many of us will begin decoding the way Gaia expresses herself with weather. This latent instinct must be reawakened in us now because Gaia expresses herself via weather and earth changes, just the way we humans use our personalities to express ourselves to each other. Gaia is in a significant conversation with us now; she is mirroring back to us our own hopes and fears. The exquisite dance of the stars during the end of the Mayan Calendar is a continual revelation that is unmasking the old skills we've forgotten for thousands of years.
During the New Moon in Leo, we always stretch our beliefs regarding what we can create; yet, often it's hard to know whether what we are considering is practical and feasible. With Mercury conjunct this lunation, our powers of discrimination will be excellent. The Sun/Moon/Mercury exactly opposite Neptune in Aquarius (as well as Chiron) is very significant because Neptune in Aquarius (1998-2012) has been guiding our spiritual opening all the way through the Galactic Underworld-1999-2011. Like a great spiritual master speaking the truth, in this position Neptune instructs us to expand our sense of self, way beyond what we've ever thought possible. Neptune says, "Step into your greater self, the envelope of consciousness that brought you here now. Melt the remnants of your lion-like ego and create from your essence." I'm sure many of you are already feeling like expanding your potential now, since you were pushed to do that last month when Neptune was exactly quincunx the Cancer New Moon; the God of the deep was preparing you for the actualization of new goals by inspiring you to do a lot of fantasizing and dreaming about what you want. Now, Neptune's opposition to the New Moon will inspire the fruition of these dreams.
If Neptune's exact opposition to the New Moon/Mercury isn't a sufficiently expansive force for you (maybe because it is so inherently subtle in Aquarius as well as retrograde), then good old electrical Uranus in Neptune's sign, Pisces will do the job. With this lunation, Uranus is quincunx the New Moon/Mercury, and everyone will be pushed into action by subtle surprises and synchronicities. A building desire to transform spiritually will be your heart's desire as the sky father zaps you with lightning! I'm sure you've noticed by the floods and fires that the elementals are really riled up these days. There was a tornado in Brooklyn, NY! Can you believe that? More and more people are empathizing deeply with Nature and can feel her crying out against excessive human selfishness and lack of respect for her laws. As a result of our empathy, she has been given permission to express herself. She will rage and quake, make floods and fires, all this to show humanity that war/ecocide must cease. In the Summer Solstice reading, I noted that the weather this summer would teach us how to read Nature's signals. With Uranus quincunx the Leo lunation, many will suddenly decode the big secret that the Global Elite does not want you to know: You've been tricked to put your attention on the theoretical causes of global warming, but by reading all the feelings in the weather events, you can establish a positive feedback loop with nature. Then you will see that the Global Elite is causing the destruction, not simple carbon elementals.
In writing about the Cancer New Moon, I speculated that the great fires in the American West were expressing the Venus/Saturn conjunctions in Leo. If this is true, then because Venus retrograde conjuncts Saturn the day after this New Moon, the fires will be very intense for another month, causing more people to attune to the relationship between human behavior and nature. Venus conjuncts Saturn three times between July 1 and October 13, inspiring us to clarify our values and choose carefully what we really want. This long conjunction caused by Venus retrograde is making us get real about our resources and the value of our relationships. Nationally and globally, Venus/Saturn is manifesting a great housing crisis and debt crash. The country that is bombing so many homes in the Middle East is getting a reckoning. Many people will lose their homes and almost everything else because they just didn't value these great resources enough. Since this second and retrograde conjunction is right after the New Moon, the real truth about how bad the crisis is will be apparent during the August 28 Pisces Lunar Eclipse. Suddenly, Americans who are losing their homes will be disgusted by the reckless antics of the Bush administration. People will be saddened by how much they have lost and disheartened by the blatant lack of compassion by leaders. The thievery in banking will cause people to press aggressively for valuing resources.
Sorry for so much doom and gloom, but last month under Cancerian influence, many Americans began to realize that what the government is doing is coming home to roost. So, we are actually getting somewhere. Many people are not trapped by debt because they could see this crisis coming for a long time. After witnessing the government's weak response to people's needs during and after Katrina, we are now seeing the collapse of a major bridge in Minneapolis as a message of how dangerous life has become with the Bushites in power. During this lunation, Pluto on the Galactic Center exactly trines Venus conjunct Saturn in Leo, so getting real now will become America's ticket to a more realistic approach to life. In last month's New Moon analysis, I noted that Americans are feeling a widening disparity between their personal security and the government-inspired obsession with terrorism. Well, by the time of the last Venus conjunct Saturn in October, many more people will realize this focus on fear is used to cover up the tracks of Bushite involvement in 9/11. In other words, the Venus/Saturn conjunctions are waking people up to face very harsh truths.
On a practical note, during the first Venus/Saturn conjunction July 1, did you identify old habits you need to release? Did you make some progress with addictions? Well, this lunation is the perfect time to fine-tune your personal habits even more, as well as do what you can to strengthen your finances. With the last Venus/Saturn conjunction in October, practical needs will come to the front stage where they belong, and masses of people will release old dysfunctional patterns. You will be able to say, "Oh well, been there, done that," based on what you've learned this summer and then move on quickly. After all, Saturn goes into Virgo in September, and then the Pluto-in-Virgo generation (born 1956-1972) will use the creative breakthroughs of the last few years that the Pluto-in-Leo generation (born 1939-1956) has recently brought back into culture. Soon, Virgo will easily initiate practical and systemic change.
Mars in 4 Gemini is in wide opposition to Jupiter in 10 Sagittarius, and this opposition is pulled closer by a grand square created by the lunar nodes in 7 Pisces/Virgo. This mutable grand square with the Pisces karmic focus on awakening real compassion suggests that more and more people are going to be able to see the root cause of America's problems-war and lack of respect for resources. Jupiter just went direct on August 6, and now it is going to plow all the way through Sagittarius and move into Capricorn on December 19, the same day the north node of the Moon goes into Aquarius. Therefore, from this New Moon to the Winter Solstice, people will be galled by the obscene waste of precious resources through weaponry, troops, and transport all over the globe. The global implications of America-as-Empire will be obvious when Jupiter reaches Pluto on the Galactic Center in mid-December. That is when I expect the Sun to start erupting. It is time to spit in the eye of a government that instructs people to recycle and haggles over carbon credits while it wastes resources on a monumental scale and pushes for nuclear power.
During the last lunation in Cancer, Jupiter squared the lunar nodes, which brought many more spiritual masters and schools into view. Now, with Mars opposing Jupiter, masters in many dimensions will assist people who energize peace and live it in their hearts. It is time now to pray for peace and to always think peaceful thoughts while observing the conflict in the world. Chiron in Aquarius is sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius, which acts as the resolution of the grand square. Healing can occur at a distance, so the hearts of each peaceful person will expose the obscenity of war as nature rages. She rages fiercely against the killing of species, elements, and minds, so be with her in your central heart when she is Leo the lion, mirroring to all on Earth the truth about the preciousness of life."

Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

AM started this thread and here's a recent, l-o-n-g post referencing two inconjuncts, lo and behold:

Quote:
Barbara Hand Clow says in the following Equinox article:
"This is an exceptional spring equinox for manifestation, and I, for one, am going to take full advantage of the opportunity this year. Just look at Saturn, the grim reaper, opposing Mercury/Uranus, trining the Moon, and then being in a wide quincunx (150 degrees) to Chiron/Neptune! This means the deep spiritual healing of Chiron/Neptune is encouraging wise old Saturn to loosen up and release old pain. You might want to use it for that reason yourself!"
....Jupiter is playing an interesting role this spring. Jupiter is in a close quincunx to Saturn, which is exact March 22, and this is a great tool for utilizing Sun-square- Pluto. Quincunxes to outer planets (Saturn) from inner planets (Jupiter) push the outer planet to a greater degree of potential. Jupiter quincunx Saturn is very significant because a Uranus-ruled Jupiter breaks open Saturn's tendency to limit things. Of course, Saturn is retrograde, and so it is processing events that have been taking place since December 31, 2008, when Saturn retrograded at 22 Virgo. Thus Jupiter is asking Saturn to widen its perspective and allow bigger things to occur, at least in our minds, and this is a great relief for the tight Sun-square-Pluto. This quincunx will also help you to admit if you are wrong about something in your life, and to make changes this spring in new directions."
Here's the link to the entire article, including equinox and new moon charts, excerpted below:
http://www.handclow2012.com/astroflash.htm

"AstroFlash! breaks the four seasons down into three lunar cycles within the context of major planetary transits. I offer some lunar and seasonal chart comparison with background charts (see Methodology) by means of combust (less than 1 degree by conjunction) aspects. We begin with how you can master seasonality. This is written for people north of the equator, yet if you live south of the equator, just reverse summer and winter.

Seasonality

The New Year is not January 1st! The new year-the Spring Equinox-occurs around March 21, when the Sun enters 0 degrees Aries by geocentric astrology. For Earth, this is when the Sun is directly over the equator. Then it tracks north until it reaches the Tropic of Cancer at 0 degrees Cancer during the Summer Solstice around June 21. Then it turns back and crosses over the equator at 0 degrees Libra during to the Fall Equinox around September 23. It moves south of the equator until it reaches the Tropic of Capricorn at 0 degrees Capricorn on the Winter Solstice around December 21. Then the Sun seems to move north again for its return to the equator for the next Spring Equinox. Of course, the Sun only seems to move in this pattern from Earth's view, since the phenomena is caused by the tilt of Earth's axis as it orbits the Sun during a solar year.

The modern calendar abuses our conciousness! The time to make plans for each year is during the Spring Equinox, not during the so-called "New Year". The most philosophical and spiritual time of the year is the Winter Solstice, which is reduced to addictions and consumerism by Christmas shopping, eating, and drinking. In fact, December 21st to March 21st, the last quarter of the year, is our yearly completion time. The special days and nights right before the Winter Solstice are the most mystical time of the year, and we should meditate for hours during this time. Then when the Sun is in Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces before the Spring Equinox, we should be deepening our understandings of all the things we have learned during the last nine months-the previous Spring Equinox to the Winter Solstice.

The Spring Equinox is the time to identify the intentions we wish to fulfill during the four seasons. Ideas correctly seeded at the Spring Equinox manifest for a year, and I will offer instructions for correctly seeding ideas and manifesting them through the rest of the seasons. During the Summer Solstice, the time has arrived to birth these ideas into recognizable form, like a forming fetus. The Fall Equinox is the time to flesh out, balance, and assess these creations and to weed things out that just are not working. Then the Winter Solstice is the time to enter into deep contemplation to imagine how our personal creations assist others and the planet.

The Winter Solstice is the time to be brutally honest and evaluate whether our ideas enhance others or whether they may actually be detrimental for evolution. A sweet elixir of knowing comes the day of the Winter Solstice when the light begins to return, and each one of us can put greater realities above our personal desires. It is no accident that in Western cultures commercial Christmas is inserted just when people are amazingly psychic and attuned! I suggest you cancel Santa Claus during the Winter Solstice and spend three months reflecting on what you've created during the year.

2009 Spring Equinox: March 20, 2009 / View Chart

The spring equinox has arrived, and it is time to decide what we want to create during the rest of the year. As most of you know, the ancient goddess wisdom-Goddess Alchemy-is still available to us now. It teaches us how to use the powers of the four seasons. Many of you have discovered that you can create what you want in your life by utilizing this knowledge. So, now you are anticipating the return of this potency during this spring. I created this website to disseminate this seemingly simple but very potent knowledge, so please review the preceding section-Seasonality-if you are a new reader or just have forgotten how to use seasonality. This method is the greatest individual tool that we have; it can overcome any system or control program.

During the last 100,000 years, humans venerated the goddess, the feminine intelligence of Earth/Gaia, by aligning themselves with the seasons. While the patriarchy attained domination during the last 5,125 years, this sacred knowledge was almost lost. Now, during the great awakening, millions are remembering how to co-create with the Divine by using this natural method. As the patriarchy rapidly disintegrates during the end of the Mayan Calendar, you can work directly with the planetary mind by using seasonality as an essential survival skill. Choose three carefully crafted intentions during the Spring Equinox-and this will push you fast-forward into the stream of evolution, since time acceleration is exponential. If you utilized Goddess Alchemy last year, then since December 21, 2008 (Winter Solstice), you have been reflecting on last year's creations to see how they are part of the collective flow.

Some of you may have manifested one or more of your intentions only during the last few months of the '08-'09 solar year-when normally it would have happened earlier in the year. In my case, my third intention manifested only a few weeks ago; this has not happened for me before, and it was like giving birth. I was amazed by how easily my intention pushed me into manifesting my goal-the one I thought I just didn't have the time for, didn't feel like, just plain ignored. Nevertheless, that spring 2008 potency just shoved me over the top during the 2009 winter! I felt good doing something that I was sure was important last spring-but then just couldn't handle during the year. If my final choice hadn't come through, this would have been the first intention during thirty years of this practice that did not work out. I continue to be impressed with the potency of this teaching-and perhaps it is the same for you?[Last spring, I chose to take Alchemy of Nine Dimensions to its highest potential level, which I thought involved improving how we teach our Activations. But suddenly instead, I am writing a revision of Alchemy, which the publisher is very excited about and will release this summer. As the winter deepened, I realized that Alchemy is flawed because Carl Calleman's time-acceleration hypothesis is not included, and it is the essence of the mysterious ninth dimension.]

Have some of you also been late bloomers this year and then were recently prodded by unseen levels of creativity? If so, something new is going on this year. This could be the heavy influence of Chiron/Neptune traveling together in Aquarius, Uranus in Pisces, as well as Pluto's ingress into Capricorn. During this last year, these transformative transits were hard to utilize, and now these powers seem to be releasing by the ingress of many inner planets into Aquarius and Pisces. And, Pluto in Capricorn means we are being prodded to transform our basic operational systems. Therefore, in my interpretation of the 2009 Spring Equinox, we need to watch for the influence of all these planets in Aquarius and Pisces as well as the aspects to Pluto in early Capricorn.

The spring equinox occurs when the Sun goes into Aries every year and we focus on "getting the job done" and making the most of our opportunities. The equinoxes are like a teeter-totter, the playground apparatus that teaches children about balance, geometry, and physics. Weight and distance on the fulcrum is affected by which end of the board is up or down. To achieve balance, weight must be factored with distance. Playing with it reminds you that if you are fat you will sink to the ground if you sit on the end, or if you are thin you must go way out to the end. The secret is, all the energy and potency exists at the fulcrum point, which is exactly what happens to human potential during the equinoxes. During the spring equinox we have the greatest potential to birth something new, and during the fall equinox we naturally balance our new creations with the rest of our reality. If you don't balance new creations, you may feel like a boa constrictor that has partially swallowed a goat. Whether you are fat or thin, you still need to balance things.

As the Sun moves into Aries this year, it closely squares Pluto in 3 degrees of Capricorn; therefore, Pluto is the motivator for new creation this year. Thus, each thing we manifest individually is going to become part of the new systems that are coming in. This year many of you will feel yourself creating the greater reality, which will be a profound and encouraging experience. After all, the collective mentality has been afflicted with a severe lack of ardor and connection during most of the Galactic Underworld-AD 1999-2011. [See The Mayan Code: Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind.] Soon after Jupiter conjuncted Saturn in May 2000 (a Trigon), a dominant and bizarre political program was created by the Bush/Cheney regime that dominated the collective mind until November 4, 2008. During that time, as Bush put it, "Things just happen!" On the day Barack Obama was elected, Saturn opposed Uranus for the first time, and the idea returned that we are here to create our own realities. The Saturn/Uranus oppositions will occur repeatedly through July 2010, and with the assistance of Pluto in Capricorn, they are breaking down the pattern that was imposed in 2000. Whether you like it or not, collective themes-financial renewal, the end of war, the ascendancy of kindness over cruelty-are going to be parts of your personal creations. For example, if you intend love and art, there will be more love and art in the world.

If you are still unclear about what you created from your intentions back in March '08, your new equinox intentions for '09 will not be well formulated. Normally I do not need to harp on clarity just before the spring equinox. However, we need to come to a clear place because all the planets in Aquarius and Pisces have confused most of us, and many of us hate the feeling of Pluto in Capricorn. Everything that you have ever known in your life is going away, and though something entirely new is coming in, you can't see what it is yet. To appraise your '08-'09 creations, let me make it easier: whether you got something you intended, or not, just view what you've been doing as beautiful and desired by Nature. Your works are so much more wondrous than you are able to see right now, so paint them with shimmering light and refracted colors and accept how they have arrived and exist now. You must do this because Pluto in Capricorn rules ethics, truth, practicality, real need, and hard appraisal. Respect what you have created, since your works are seeds for a new universe that is just coming into form.

As you honor your '08-'09 creations, consider what you want to create this year, since the Sun going into Aries on March starts to square Pluto-and then goes into an exact square on March 23. This cardinal square is going to activate power struggles in the collective mind that will be sourced in your very own creative intentions. I am not suggesting that any of you need to manifest things to aid and abet the collective, since you will do that anyway. For example, if you want to create a financially secure home, then you will be participating in the global housing issue.

As you begin to sense of the influence of the Sun-square-Pluto during the equinox, let me explain all the other aspects. We go right to Mars, which rules Aries, and Mars will be in early Pisces sextiling Pluto. This is interesting, because generally Mars does not do well in Pisces, whose Neptunian quality does not favor action. This suggests that there will be difficulties getting things done this spring; planets in Aquarius and Pisces favor spiritual transformation, not what works in the material world. Mars in Pisces in a close sextile to Pluto, and this tells us to utilize intuition and higher guidance for our actions this spring-which actually fits very well with the spiritual honing we've experienced during the winter. As you work to change difficult and stuck situations, open the gates of change by asking for higher guidance. This potential is fascinating to me because this seems to be how Barack Obama gets things done. Then his spiritual direction flows right through him to the people.

Neptune draws close to Chiron in Aquarius after moving closer and closer all during 2008; and now we are on the verge of a series of five exact conjunctions into 2012. This conjunction of two great spiritual and healing powers encourages us to take the next evolutionary leap-to heal ourselves from being a multi-traumatized species. [See Clow, Catastrophobia: The Real Truth Behind Earth Changes]. The two planets will be exactly conjunct in mid-April, when few will be able to resist Neptune's influence in Aquarius. Chiron operates like the perfect homeopathic remedy because it is small and has an elliptical orbit. Neptune is in Aquarius from 1998 through 2012 (the whole Galactic Underworld), and therefore is the signature aspect of the Mayan Calendar's completion days. Now Chiron is activating it by coming into conjunction-and this will end Earth's quarantine within the universe. [See Exopolitics by Alfred Lambrement Webre.] Our species will begin to re-enter the Universe in stages that will begin this April.

Mercury in Pisces is close to Uranus, and their exact conjunction is March 24. This is a great clarifier, because Mercury rules our basic mental functions and then Uranus rules our higher minds. When Mercury and Uranus are conjunct, we fuse our basic thoughts with higher mentalities, and this allows us to be instant philosophers. The Mercury/Uranus conjunction will intensify the building Sun/Pluto square, which is exact on March 23. Since Sun-square-Pluto is pushing us into alignment with greater possibilities, we will tend to have amazing illuminations from Mercury/Uranus in Pisces. There may be something you just know, which should be taken very seriously. Of course, the time around the equinox is a great period for contemplating time-acceleration theory, such as brushing up on the importance of Day Six of the Galactic Underworld and the previous Day Sixes of the earlier Underworlds. I've already written about the previous Day Sixes and how we took significant evolutionary leaps during each one, such as during Day Six of the Tribal Underworld when our hominid ancestors separated from apes and chimpanzees. [See my new DVD, Exponential Evolution: A Day Six Lecture, c/o www.wiseawakening.com.]

During the equinox, Mercury/Uranus oppose Saturn retrograde in Virgo, which creates a greater awareness about the effects of Saturn opposite Uranus. During the March 10/11 Full Moon in Virgo, the Full Moon was right on the Saturn- opposite-Uranus axis, and the results posted by failing banks were positive; the word was that the banks can not fail. So far, the Saturn/Uranus oppositions have not been chaotic, and they seem to be opening new ways of doing things in a quiet way. The degree of change is very profound, but not violent. Mercury and Uranus in Pisces sextile the Spring Equinox Moon in Capricorn, which suggests the public mood will be very serious. Personal desires to create will be grounded and very intentional. The Moon in Capricorn closely trines Saturn retrograde in Virgo, which adds significant control and opportunity for wisdom and well-planned actions. This is an exceptional spring equinox for manifestation, and I, for one, am going to take full advantage of the opportunity this year. You might want to use it for that reason yourself!

Jupiter is playing an interesting role this spring. This quincunx will also help you to admit if you are wrong about something in your life, and to make changes this spring in new directions.

Venus-retrograde-in-Aries may be a bit of a troublemaker this spring, since Venus is uncomfortable in Aries, and its retrograde motion forces us to take stock of significant relationships in our lives. Venus will be retrograde in Aries until April 17, and many of us will need to come to terms with violence and/or aggression in our personal relationships. I strongly suspect it will inspire a great deal of confusion about being in the military and being involved in continual wars. Venus widely sextiles Jupiter in Aquarius, so perhaps many people will have more and more trouble with spending money on war when their country is bankrupt. In the chart cast for Washington, DC, Venus hovers right on the rising sign, and so I expect to see more and more questions arise about flagrant military spending while Americans are losing their jobs and homes. Venus retrograde may be the aspect that can shift using priceless resources in dubious wars. Venus also sextiles the lunar North Node in Aquarius, which invites Americans to make the connection between their personal needs while resources are wasted in wars. If anybody out there is inclined to do a manifestation for peace this year, the Spring Equinox 2009 chart calls for it.

To complete this examination, I have a simple idea. Think of the lunar North Node/Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune as the disorienting qualities this spring, and allow your confusion to "just be". Think of Mars/Mercury/Uranus in Pisces as the illuminating and dreaming qualities this spring, and allow this powerful knowing force within you to flow. Think of Sun/Venus in Aries as tools for action this spring. Of course, you all have a good feel now for the power of the Sun going into Aries, which opens all fields for quick action. Venus retrograde in Aries is trickier because most of us do not like to face our inner demons, our own proclivities for violence. Yet, facing these things is what will end war and the shocking wastage of precious resources on a planet in such dire straits. If you are sick of your money devaluating, your job opportunities shrinking, and your home being threatened, consider looking to the cause-fear of others-and just stop it; we are all members of the same species.

Have a great spring and watch for my reading for the New Moon in Aries that occurs on March 26!

Aries New Moon: March 26, 2009 View Chart

It is the New Moon in Aries: the time to start new things that have promise and to end things that are just going nowhere. The Spring Equinox occurred just a few days ago, and so we are really feeling like getting moving. The central issue with using Aries power is: to do our utmost to be clear about what we want, and to think about how our lives would change if we did get what we want. If you're not careful, with strong Aries aspects, you can become a rampaging car that is out of control because nobody's at the steering wheel. Think about that.

This New Moon in Aries is especially fine for getting going with Mercury and Venus close to the New Moon. Of course, during the New Moon we integrate our feelings (Moon) with our central purpose (Sun). Adding Mercury, which rules our mental functioning, and Venus, which rules what attracts us and is attracted to us, this is a very functional and alluring lunation. It will be easier than usual to be clear about exactly what we want. Then, Pluto in early Capricorn squares this intimate group in Aries, which intensifies the meaning, integrity, and seriousness of our intentions. Pluto will retrograde on April 4, so this is the last chance to use Pluto as a tool in ordinary reality until he goes direct in mid-September. On April 4, you will move the deep issues you have been working on into your private zone to consider whether you can actually handle what has been coming up. With some thought, you can better comprehend the things that seemed so urgent. The great revolution going on in the outer world will slow down for just a little while, and then personal and collective agendas will charge forward like "a bull with laser vision" in the fall.

This Aries New Moon is a great time to take some fundamental actions on big issues you have been hammering away at because, in a few weeks, a pause will come. The stellium in Aries trines the lunar South Node in Leo, which is also very favorable for completing some things; you can cap off the job, so to speak. The stellium sextiles the lunar North Node in Aquarius-making it easy to assess the value of things in our lives, and to just let them settle in if they are right on. Meanwhile, the subtle player in the group is Venus retrograde in Aries from March 3 until April 17. Venus retrograde in Aries encourages us to assess relationships, values, resources, and material needs. What, and whom, do we really love so much that we will even change ourselves to keep the bond going? This Venus retrograde is tense because Venus is dissatisfied in Aries; she scans for variety and something different. With Venus retrograde in Aries, the most exquisite and cherished person in your life may seem to be a bloody bore-or worse. But, watch it, because you may be seeing yourself in the other person!

Venus retrograde came on strong March 3, and it is going to hit like a bomb during this New Moon. If you dump someone on the day after the New Moon, you may feel like you had a case of temporary insanity when Venus conjuncts the Sun. This New Moon, so close to Venus, asks us to get real about strong attachments because Venus in Aries makes us feel like getting real and being honest. This can propel a deep relationship into a new and more honest phase, or push it right out of existence. Either way, it would be wise to assume that difficult emotions coming up in relationships right now are happening because you're not getting something that you desire, something you are afraid to ask for. You are being challenged to choose love over discord, or to see that the love is not strong enough to handle conflict. Hold with this energy and be as patient as you can because Venus retrograde offers you great clarity within complex relationships when she turns direct April 17. Also, you will have a better perspective on your situation on May 21 when Venus passes its March 3 retrograde point (15 Aries); so if your theatre of conflict is marriage or a committed relationship, it would be wise to wait before you do anything drastic. On May 21, you will see the situation clearly, and it will not be as difficult to change things. .

Mars-in-Pisces transforms take-charge impulses into a desire to go sit on a park bench, stare at a wall, or just turn the phone off. Mars-in-Pisces generates lethargy and ennui. When Mars is in Pisces, many people wonder why it is worth doing anything at all, and even if it seems to be worth it, they still just can't get motivated. The constant energy loss and drag with Mars in Pisces is a very difficult thing in general, and a great challenge for those who have it in their natal charts. So, even though you will a big charge from the stellium in Aries-"I should, I must, I will"-like Inspector Clouseau, you might just peek around the corner, tap your umbrella, and go off in the other direction. Saturn in Virgo exactly opposes the midpoint between Mars and Uranus in Pisces, which hints at snafus and odd turns of events in the larger world and in your life. This is because Mars (action) and Uranus (transformation) are deactivated, and then challenged by Saturn in opposition. This amusing and owl-like configuration feels like a leaky energy that will confuse people about what and who is on top. Meanwhile, it is an excellent aspect for the big boys to play shell games, especially regarding "where did all the bailout money go?".

I am suggesting that things may not actually be as they appear to be, with many people charging around looking like they are doing many things, but much of what is going on is hot air. Like the moment when a pillow breaks open and the chicken feathers fly all over the place, you may wonder what's making you sneeze. This is really an oddball New Moon, and I noticed that the other astrologers didn't know how to read it, so they talked about everything but this chart! Well, the key to how the energy can be used if you are wily and smart lies in the close quincunx from Jupiter in Aquarius to Saturn in Virgo. This is a major case of "The buck stops here!" aspect that will force cheaters and thieves out in the open, if anybody is watching.

Jupiter in Aquarius inspires us to revolt: first, in the privacy of our minds, and then, by joining together to change reality. It wants assets to be fairly delegated, and you can see that a revolt against the "Bailout" abuses is building. Jupiter in Aquarius wants money to be used wisely to create valuable things. Saturn in Virgo loves order, efficiency, and the creation of good systems. Saturn in Virgo is constant, dedicated, and determined-and yes, it is often obsessive. Watch out for Saturn in Virgo when it gets thwarted because it will come out fighting. Jupiter in Aquarius agrees with that, and with this tight quincunx, they'd better put Bernie Madoff in isolation, while Fed Chairman Bernanke does some new thinking.

Saturn in Virgo is the master key that reveals how this great Aries stellium can be used at its highest potential. Uranus/Mars opposing Saturn in Virgo pressures for persistent change, and the quincunx from Jupiter in Aquarius is like the lever, the crowbar. It will continue to expand the issues and dilemmas-until new winds of change blow in and topple the blocks. In that sense, this should be a nuanced and subtle month, a time when many things are happening that are invisible.

Venus/New Moon/Mercury in Aries squaring Pluto proudly announce that it is time to be clear about what we want and go for it, but Uranus/Mars in Pisces opposing Saturn in Virgo will create odd and circuitous methods. Meanwhile, Chiron is in close conjunction to Neptune in Aquarius, and we hear a new siren: a siren that wails for us to heal our spiritual crisis and become whole again. Neptune/Chiron in Aquarius for the next few years is going to push us hard to process our inner wounding, to face our shortcomings coming from past pain. Chiron/Neptune in Aquarius is the signature aspect for the end of the Mayan Calendar; they form a conjunction that guarantees we are going to stop limiting ourselves. The point of this New Moon in Aries is to direct the great pressure we feel for change right into healing ourselves, healing all the complexes and limitations that got us where we are now. So, when you see things collapse this month that you were sure are very important for you, consider that old and useless things are collapsing so that you won't collapse.

Consider the following: assume that what actually happens is just what it is supposed to be, regardless of what you thought should be going. Aries does not do well when Mars is in Pisces, yet we are in a collapsing environment that is recycling old paths; we are finally letting go. The surest advice for this month is to be prepared to just move on if something doesn't work, just kiss it goodbye. After all, Mars in Pisces is always happy to sit on the park bench or stare out the window-a perfectly good choice while old worlds are quickly passing away."

Arrow Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

Because they just keep getting more interesting and potent, here's the Gemini New Moon report by Barbara Hand Clow. It's a doozy!

Quote:
Gemini New Moon: May 24, 2009 View Chart
"Coming after the great Earth awakening during Taurus, now the New Moon in Gemini quickens the plants, animals, and our body/minds. The Gemini New Moon is always enlivening and exciting, and 2009 is no exception because it describes the spiritual quickening of our species. We are remembering our destiny as a cosmic species, which is making many people desire to end their painful separation from divine consciousness; the Triple Conjunction of Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune in Aquarius will catalyze human communion with the divine. This opening is going to quicken during the Gemini lunation, which will release the powers of this subtle planetary fusion with the divine.
The midpoint of Day Six of the Galactic Underworld (January 1999 to February 2011) was May 11, 2009. [See The Mayan Code: Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind.] I was amazed by what was going on in people's auras during the midpoint. Cosmic forces seemed to be penetrating deeper and deeper into their auras, and this seemed to be eroding the boundaries separating them from full energy potential. They were opening like flowers amidst the building influence of the Triple Conjunction. The midpoint weekend was also a wild Full Moon in Scorpio, during which Gerry and I conducted a "Journey through Nine Dimensions" activation in Vancouver, BC. We were both quite astounded, as well as concerned, by what was going on with students.
Because many participants were feeling their boundaries softening, the activation was almost too much for some of them, which made teaching more difficult for us. Yet, these students were achieving non-separation, which meant we equalized with them as teachers. Of course, this intensification arrived during the midpoint of Day Six, which is the high point of our evolutionary flowering during the Galactic Underworld! I am sharing these recent experiences with students because I am sure that many of you readers are feeling emotional and physical stress yourselves. This is always what happens when dormant spiritual awareness is awakened; so, you must rest, be in nature, and eat very healthy food. I also recommend you read Carl Calleman's reflections on this midpoint of Day Six. [Visit www.calleman.com.] He says we are now moving into egalitarian society, the time when we are equals in our planetary work. We saw this already happening in our workshop! Hooray!
The second half of Day Six has begun, and our creations are going to become much more complex as we access more levels of awareness. Regarding the Mayan Calendar, the god or goddess that rules the next cycle (Night Six in this case) begins its influence during the second half of a Day or Night. The deity that rules Night Six, which opens November 7, 2009, is Tlahuizcalpantecuthli, the ruler before the dawn, Day Seven. The arrival of this deity heralds the time when those who have been intentionally transforming themselves will begin to feel better; however, those who've been resisting change will be very stressed and freaked out. Meanwhile, I think the only way we could have an egalitarian world would be for each one of us to attain personal enlightenment-to fully manifest our spiritual and healing capacities. Astrology provides exquisite cosmic metaphors that are right in tandem with the last days of the Mayan Calendar. For example, as we turn this next great corner to our freedom, the Gemini New Moon reveals the codes of our quickening. After all, we are the yeast in the rising bread of enlightenment, which is why our spirits chose to incarnate now. I will read this New Moon's chart as a script for this quickening, as our attainment of flow with spirit.
The New Moon is in 3 Gemini, trining the lunar North Node in 2 Aquarius; it also quincunxes Pluto retrograde in 3 Capricorn. The trine to airy North Node in Aquarius (which will soon move into Capricorn) means we will have an easy and firm grasp of karmic purpose during this lunation; we will know what me must do and experience a good sense of timing. During the Spring Equinox, we began to actually feel ourselves creating the greater reality; this was due to the pushy influence of the equinox Sun closely squaring Pluto in Capricorn. Now this spring energy comes to fruition by this solar/lunar quincunx to newly retrograde Pluto in Capricorn; our co-creational powers churn in our guts. We feel the seriousness of our times and know that we are connected to the events and outcomes. A great place for observing this push-and-pull between individuals and collective dramas is in the massive closing of automobile dealerships, which have been economic bellwethers and community fixtures since the Great Depression. Transformations like this are now penetrating deeply into the American economy, underscored by Pluto turning retrograde on April 4, 2009, while Saturn was also in retrograde. Then, amidst complex and divisive Mars/Venus aspects during the spring, many of you were living out personal dramas that felt like archetypal battles between the Greek gods. They are! They were all designed to get you on the stage of life and act! The collapse of the auto economy is designed to release an old technology and all its limitations, but most people are totally addicted to its comforts.
Pluto's intense, transformational agenda just found a new avenue during Saturn's direct station on May 16, 2009, right after the closure of many car dealerships was announced. With Saturn's assistance in reliable and responsible Virgo (which trines Pluto in Capricorn), people are searching within themselves for new ways to live. Amidst this deep consideration, retrograde Pluto ***** our consciousness into greater connection with all that is, to our cosmic linkage. The Mayan Calendar and astrology are in concordance with these driving forces. For example, Pluto's crossing of the Galactic Center during 2007 locked our souls into great cosmic processes, when Chiron and Neptune were moving closer together in the sky. The outer planets are always the key to great changes in our world.
In Capricorn until 2024, Pluto forces us to clean up the excesses of the National (3316 BC-AD 2011) and Planetary (AD 1755-2011) Underworlds. These change processes moved inward with Pluto's retrograde on April 4, which made it possible for each one of us to realign ourselves with each other and the new flow. At this point, enough people realize that the intense change processes are not going to stop, and they are seeking new ways to cope. Then, when Saturn turned direct at 15 degrees of Virgo on May 16, a great balancing act began between each one of us and the universe. Instinctually, we sense that reliable old Saturn will soon change into another force. Yes, Saturn goes into Libra in late October, where he will be much less kind and much more demanding. Meanwhile, somewhere within the divine spark in each one of us, we remember who we are and why we are here now. Some even sense that the undirected "unjust" outer world is beginning to align with the real needs of our species. Therefore, the collapse of totally outmoded systems like autos not only makes some sense, it is even welcomed by some. The Gemini New Moon quincunx Pluto retrograde in Capricorn may release a tone from unsold cars in weedy lots that are mysteriously honking their horns just before the Summer Solstice! We'd better be listening to these horns, since quincunxes always get their way.
The New Moon quincunx to Pluto is a waxing quincunx-one that is moving into the Sun/Pluto opposition to come just after the Cancer New Moon, which occurs right after the Summer Solstice. Waxing quincunxes are very pushy and demanding because they are revving up to attain the full power of the coming opposition. So, the New Moon quincunx Pluto brazenly taunts smoldering Pluto in early Capricorn: "Come on, big boy hiding in the deep, show me your staying power, if you have any." Many of us will reorder their priorities during this lunation. Once upon a time in the ancient days when this influence would occur, maybe a great volcano would blow. But now, the volcano is heating up the magma in our hearts, and transmuting us with fire. You must use this energy judiciously, which is not possible without taking advantage of the things you've learned from your spiritual practices all these years. Luckily, the indications are in the sky and their meaning is clear and undeniable: The key to handling the New Moon's challenge is to open yourself to the Triple Conjunction-Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune in Aquarius.
We astrologers talk on and on about Neptune as a guide for connecting with spirit worlds. It has become a cliché, and most people just don't think about what that means. So, I will attempt to find other words to describe Neptune's influence. Most of the time, we are separated out from all-that-is, the timeless energy fields of our cosmic bodies. We are caught in time and place, and then once in awhile we experience a breakthrough into all-that-is-a peak experience. When this happens, the boundaries around our separated selves melt, and we experience "oneness" or enlightenment. Children frequently exist in oneness-especially infants-but then painful experiences cause them to close up and separate from divine consciousness. While we are alive, Chiron's transits-usually by conjunction, square, and opposition-erode the boundaries of the separated self by means of piercing stabs into deep inner wounds. When these wounds occurred in this life or past lives, we erected boundaries around the wounds, yet the very energy that could reconnect us with spirit-Neptune-is locked out. So, Chiron and Neptune working together can erode these boundaries that block cosmic fusion. In other words, accessing pain sometimes opens spiritual connection, and this is what we resist the most.
Chiron's transits inspire us to heal our selves and others by piercing the deepest wounds of this life and from the past, so we can be healed by Neptune's balm. These days, this tandem process causes many to realize that we are a multi-traumatized species that is healing now. So, piercing core wounds and melting the boundaries separating us from spirit is a collective experience. The Triple Conjunction catalyzed by this Gemini New Moon opens the collective wounds. As mentioned last month, right after the last Triple Conjunction in 1944, the Americans dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the most obscene wound afflicting our species in thousands of years; now the potential for healing this murder by radiation has arrived. Then, as Chiron and Neptune do their work, Jupiter is expanding and expanding their healing powers; Jupiter pushes us to oneness. The exact conjunction of Chiron and Neptune occurs three times during 2010, when we will experience the ultimate breakthrough of spiritual awakening through the surrender of our collective wounding. But, the aspects between the three planets just before, during, and after this New Moon are very close, and also Chiron and Neptune are stationary in the sky. This planetary stand-down will tear away the outer shells of our resistance to spirit, like a planet's atmosphere being stripped off by a close asteroid. Fortunately, Saturn's forward direction in mid-Virgo is a wonderful constructive scaffolding for our quivering minds and souls. Let us look at the dance between these three planets to comprehend how they are affecting us even now. No one will escape this intense "chirotic" fire.
Our soul-burning began on May 16 when Saturn turned direct in mid-Virgo, the day when the Sun in 26 Taurus first squared Jupiter in 26 Aquarius, next squared Chiron in 26 Aquarius, then squared Neptune in 26 Aquarius. The solar squares to the Triple Conjunction occurred just before the last-quarter Moon, the reckoning moment of each lunation. Jupiter was exactly conjunct Chiron on May 23-expanding and exposing our access to inner wounds-and will conjunct Neptune on May 27, which will expand our spiritual contact. Then, almost unbelievably, Neptune will turn retrograde on May 28, Chiron will turn retrograde May 30, and Jupiter will retrograde June 15 and go right back to conjunct Neptune and Chiron again! That is, the two-day-apart Neptune/Chiron retrograde stations will nucleate the closest pass of all three planets in Aquarius. I guarantee it, these aspects may test your sanity in light of the pain you must face; I suggest you remember how to pray. The point of the Triple Conjunction is to railroad our species into adopting spiritual healing, so we'll get an explosion of guidance if we just ask for it.
The powers of the Triple Conjunction will flow strongly through its close sextile to Mars in 24 Aries. Often, Mars-in-Aries energy is too strong for most of us, and we just avoid it, but this time we will appreciate its clear and demanding directives. Our inner female will cooperate with Mars, since Venus in Aries is in a wide conjunction to Mars; we will feel strong and sensitive, alert and allowing. Venus in Aries is also in a waning or completing quincunx to Saturn in Virgo, which suggests we have learned to value feminine strength that comes from surrender and "allowing". This quincunx encourages women to value masculine Saturn's ability to structure and order things, which has been most welcome amidst so much change. I feel that advances for women are coming along very nicely these days, and the exact quincunx of Venus to Saturn may spotlight influential women.
Uranus, the planet that rules transformation and change, is in 26 Pisces sextiling Mercury retrograde in 24 Taurus. Mercury turned retrograde May 6, 2009, at 2 Gemini, and he goes direct May 30 at 23 Taurus, and his exact sextile to Neptune will occur June 6. So, our mental reflections are still very inward during this New Moon, and the sextile from Uranus in Pisces suggests that our thought processes tend to be very spiritual, very subtle. Mercury rules the lower mind and Uranus rules the higher mind, and sometimes a sextile between Mercury/Uranus allows us to bridge to higher worlds, which is even more likely when Mercury is in retrograde. Yet, Mercury is slow and plodding in Taurus, and Uranus in Pisces transforms inwardly, so perhaps you will have wonderful dreams.
As you can see, this New Moon is generally very spiritual, but it is even more than that. The Triple Conjunction is now in action full bore for almost a year, and then Chiron and Neptune will travel close together in the sky through 2013. The Chiron/Neptune conjunction occurring during the last days of the Mayan Calendar means we are ready to release our boundaries around thousands of years of wounding experiences. The dance of the Triple Conjunction says we will expand beyond inner wounding and manifest the spiritual powers that are our birthright. This New Moon in Gemini is the seed of alchemical healing, the seed that will germinate within our species and take us back into cosmic fusion through 2011.
Last, but not least, the Moon in the 1776 USA Founding Chart is 27 Aquarius conjunct Barack Obama's lunar South Node in 27 Aquarius. This means the Triple Conjunction will have an especially intense impact on the United States, and this should result in some very painful yet meaningful events. Considering Obama's South Node, he has returned from the past to lead America through this treacherous passage. It will be extremely interesting to see how the Gemini lunation plays out, especially in the United States. Some form of surrender and healing may occur, and Obama may be President for just that reason. Stay tuned!"

Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

Lapis, thank you for posting that. It certainly is a doozy!!

I will attempt to find other words to describe Neptune's influence.

I really like this clear statement about the role of Neptune - which I can feel very strongly at present. What she goes on to say about the role of Chiron in this process makes so much sense.

Thanks again.

PS: For reasons only known to the-deity-that-governs-the-internet, I can only access last month's Hand Clow report, even when I use the link provided above. And I've only just again tried it, and still get the Taurus New Moon report.

Thumbs up Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

R4VEN,

I'm glad you connected with it here. I don't know what to tell you about that weird Mercury rx time portal strangeness! I know Clow doesn't archive her past months reports so I don't get why you're not seeing the current one. (because of this I quote Clow's monthly and seasonal reports on my blog so they are archived and we can go back over them if desired.)

I honestly feel that this triple conjunction (Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune in Aquarius now...and the continued Chiron/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius afterwards) is another huge and potent way for humanity to exit the Piscean Age and land completely in the Aquarian Age. Many have made this energy and consciousness shift already, but for the others, this transit should really wrap the past up and energetically push the masses into the higher new energy and consciousness of the Age of Aquarius. Exciting times we live in to be sure!

Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

Arian and Lapis: is Clow's material copyrighted? This would prohibit your pasting extensive passages verbatim on this site without her permission.

Moreover, the Forum rules discourage people from using long passages verbatim. It is best just to give the link to Clow's site, and then invite other people to read it and discuss it.

Here is an excerpt from our rules:

"In order to respect copyright laws, members are asked not to paste in their posts texts copied from other websites or other publications that are over 100 words long. In all cases of quoting, the source of the respective excerpts is to be properly mentioned. Also, if the text is publicly available online, a link to the source should be placed."

Thanks for taking these to heart. W.

...and now - Sun pm here - am still getting her April New Moon report when I click the link. Extremely Rx Mercury... (although, with this current Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune energy, I am having a powerful sense of me having to actually physically dip into the past in order to bring parts of myself back to the present. Perhaps this is just symbolic of that - but still v. weird.)

I'm finding the current energy hugely exhausting, with lots going on at another level.

Ah, I see I'm getting my hand slapped for not following a rule that did not exist in on the forums any official capacity of which I am aware at the time I posted--or at least, a rule which was certainly not enforced

Lapis similarly was not active on the forums during the time of the moderator "switch-over," so she is probably unaware of the many changes that have occured in moderation within the past year.

The material probably is copyright, but I'm not seeing any copyright label on the site. Does anyone else care to check?

waybread,

I didn't know members couldn't quote other astrological material here in this way as we always could before. And NO, Barbara Hand Clow's monthly New Moon reports and also her quarterly or seasonal Solstice/Equinox reports, are something she gives away to all of us freely. None of them are copyrighted...and as a published author myself, I'd never ever do something like that! And as always, I leave a link back to the authors website so others can access more info directly if they enjoyed the material.

I understand the desire to keep posts short and sweet and not waste lots of bandwidth etc. I will try to remember to reduce any non copyrighted astrological material I quote, down to a couple paragraphs and just add a link back to the full article.

To bad this same smart rule isn't strictly applied to those ugly, endless, lowly, and often times cruel and stupid threads and posts that have no real teachings or value to other forum members but just drag on and on. For what's it's worth, I think this rule should be equally applied and enforced with those types of situations also.

Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

No hand-slapping--Just here are the rules again. So long as people stay within these guidelines there should be no problem. A link to the material, with brief excerpts of "Clow's nuggets" should probably be enough to stimulate discussion. I think sometimes people do post more verbatim material than they ought to--sometimes without sleuthing it's hard to tell what's original and what's not.

Hey, thanks. W.

Wink Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

Hey, w

Lapis,

Arian Maverick,

...in the past I simply scrolled down, copied and dumped the stunning work of Barbara
Hand Clow here, for all to read, "s'il vous-plait" and thank-you, not giving it a second thought.

In fact, my hand-eye coordination enabled me to really sizzle, causing Lapis to ask, one time:
"How do you do that?" (I'd say I am most guilty of this, except we all know guilt is a wasted
emotion...so I am most...detached.)

So, thanks AM and Lapis (for your input on this thread) and W for your Saturnian re-direct.

I will use less energy for posting the whole thing for easy access.

In fact, soon enough in the near future we will probably all be
spending less energy and time reading online, anyway.

So, suggestion taken!

C1

to heart.

C1,

Hi you! Long, long time no-see. It's great running into you again here.

I too have sensed what you hinted at about the Internet. Anyhoo...just wanted to say hi.

Wink Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

Hi Lapis!

Good! You are just the one I want to ask about a posting in the thread "Mayan Elder Speaks" --
(it's there today -- I just posted it) -- in which a comment was made that we need not expect
extraterrestrial contact, but rather, a coming energy among the people who are aligned with
the Earth/Nature/Space/Time energy -- that's each and every one, including animals, I bet!! --
which will lead to peace and light and the new consciousness.

BHC talks about lifting the embargo on Earth when Earthlings have stopped being so aggressive
and destructive -- when we've achieved peace. So do you think BHC is talking about dimensions of
consciousness, and not extraterrestrials? Probably.

See you!

(....till the full moon suns set us free from technology...)

Thumbs up Re: The Barbara Hand Clow New Moon Report

C1,

In a nutshell...we're energetically, vibrationally, ascending/evolving or going up to a frequency that is fast enough that we'll be able to see and hear and interact with some of the ETs that have always existed within this other level or higher dimension (5D).

We're ascending/evolving up to Them...they're waiting for us...and They won't be coming down to the old lower Earth we were born into. Puts a different Light on the ascension process huh? This is the new Age of Aquarius...the Cosmic or Stellar Being.

The quarantine on Earth will evaporate the second we (and mass humanity) are vibrating at this new and vastly higher level. That will be all the proof the rest of the Universe requires that we're safe and won't be taking over or blowing up anyone else out there! We will have evolved/ascended/shifted into a higher state of being and consciousness and when we do that (many have already), we will automatically find ourselves existing within a similar frequency range that these nonphysical, higher dimensional ETs have always existed within. B. H. Clow calls this process us reentering Universal Society.
