Got a juicy/touchy one for u (politics mixed with energy) Planetary hours

So, I find this post referring to a Jupiter hour, which being a rookie astrologer, I had no idea what it meant. And I start researching. I find out that the days of the week are actually named after the planets and even the hours of the day:

So I click on all the days' names with the intention of learning how they came up with the names for, Thursday, Wednesday, and Tuesday. And when I get to Tuesday I go on reading it talks about election day was set to be (by law) on the Tuesday after the 1st Monday of the month. Now since Mars rules Tuesday, and war/battle, Do you think that having election day on this day has anything to do with this country going to war so much?
