I know what you mean there, my DSC also falls on my north?? node. So the 'Lucky' (haha) Aquarius types can sometimes become exactly that. An addictive elixir.

I have Mars conjunct Pluto in Scorpio in 4th, trine venus conjunct saturn and neptune in capricorn.

I find 99.9% of people dont 'tickle my fancy'. Even if there is sexual chemistry, ill Always find a reason not to get involved. The 1% that do, I will consider them to be the best thing ever created (I will still find an exuse why not to get involved). I will be so nervous that I can barely speak.

I find I attact opposite members of sex like a magnet, I can often sense the chemisty instantly, and I go into charm mode (I really cant help it, honestly, leo ASC doesnt help there) despite the fact I dont intend to go down that route. I would hate to lead someone on, and I cant have sex (good sex) with someone unless I have strong feelings for them.

And as most of you mention, sexual romantic relationships have to bee deep and meaningful, even if its a casual relationship.

Yeah I have Venus square Pluto by 7 minutes. My closest aspect by far! And Pluto is in my 7th house so imagine that. With that said, I'm really not psycho in love relationships. Can get jealous but I think that's the case for everyone. Most of the time I don't even want to be involved with anyone because it's generally a waste of effort/time. But then I have Saturn in the 7th too. Might calm down the effects of the square. Anyways, I'll have to keep note of it and see how it plays out.

I know I attract the opposite sex quite a lot lately. But I've also heard that people of the same sex as you might feel wary of the sexuality you possess and what kind of affect it has on the opposite sex. A lot of women I've encountered, for example, were jealous or resentful of me.. sort of as if they felt this distrust towards me for being so in touch with my sensuality and feminine side. I had this female friend of mine once who was constantly worried that I'd get all the attention or attract her bf or something.. it was a bit frustrating because I don't intend on stealing other people's boyfriends, lol.

I wouldnt really bother with a semi square. I have Venus exact sextile to Pluto and only interested in intense love affairs even if short lived. Otherwise I wouldnt bother. I am rather obsessive but can deal with it and acknowledge it. Venus in Libra 8th house means I have a love of the occult, can earn money through insurance, taxes, affairs of the dead and attract inheritance and gifts through love and sex. Pluto in the 6th the workplace is an arena for love and sex and once again work with confidential matters, insurance, taxation. estate matters and criminal activities. Thoughts of being a sex worker when young but high class call girl not street prostitute. Leo influence.

Jealousy and obsession no doubt a huge factor. But really isnt that what being in love is all about, It is crazy and we are rather insane when it happens. It is a biological chemical thing has been proved and is nature's way of getting us to breed. Sometimes there is an element of love/hate.

To be honest, I never placed any weight on this aspect. Out of curiosity, I searched the Internet for its meaning. I have Venus trine my Pluto with an orb of a bit over one degree. But what surprises me more is the amount of people replying who have this aspect squared. I find that odd. One would think there is a balance.

I'm Leo, Scorpio Rising with Cancer Venus (in the 8th house) square Pluto (Libra, 10th) conjunction North Node (Libra, 11th house). All my relationships, few in number perhaps, have been intense, karmic, I dare say. I never seem to get interested in anyone I don't "already know". I've never had problems starting a relationship (it must be my Venus trine Uranus (12th house) aspect I haven't experienced jealousy, but milder forms of obsession yes. I Have Venus exact sextile to Pluto and am only into intense relationships.
It also bring a love of the occult and the mysterious and sometimes love from the past can be resurrected. It can bring healing qualities through experiencing personal crises and transformations and thus enable others to do survive and grow stronger. I also agree that the eternal love triangle is another influence with all the aspects between these two planets. Rape and obsession also abduction and stalking can be scenario with challenging aspects especially if involving Mars.

Also the eternal triangle with falling for someone not available or appropriate which causes great inner pain. Also a need to control the loved one and to be obsessive. Feelings are alway deep and intense. Lover may betray you or vice versa and you may find it very hard to let go even when you know it is all wrong.

Yes sex workers can have this combination along with Mars. Gaining money through sex essentially. I have Venus in Libra the 8th sextile Pluto and have thought of doing escort or call girl work in my youth. I have been offered gifts and money to have sex even when though not soliciting. Sexual partners have often given me gifts even though not expected or asked for.

I have pluto venus trine, and i feel the same alot. It doesn't bother me though, or really hurt, since I just go with it. its how I am, but minus the whole prostitue thing and meeting random women, I like to get into their heads and conquer their effections, And then by the time i've actualy conqured their "lust" or affection, im not interested anymore, and ignore them, while i have them following me around. But then somehow, i manage to turn that into friendship, since i know everything about them, and they come to me with "love" advice questions or open up in that area alot to me.

However, i have been with one woman for 2 or 3 years now, and I have only cheated on her twice, and that was at the start, I haven't done anything like that in over a year, and its VERY hard not to give in and go have sex with the women i inhearently and inatley hit on.

I sound like a chavinistic male, but im not, because i feel horrible when i do it. So I have to force my self to remember what its like afterwards, in order to not do it.

but thats what a trine does, you do things without trying or realizing, its your natural state.

Sometimes when i am doing something creative or studying etc. I will turn **** on in the background for the "audio" and when i need a break i just watch it for a few minutes then go back to using it as white noise. I think though that also is the effect of my mercury in such a tight cluster to venus aspecting pluto though.
As well as "dirty stories" are more interesting then **** or even sex sometimes.

I have Venus Square Saturn in my natal chart and as far as I can remember, I was always the OTHER woman in the relationship. The men that I get involved with were either in a stable/serious relationship or worse, married! They usually end up leaving their partners or break up their own relationships and try to have a relationship with me.
I feel guilty after the whole episode of me coming in between their relationships that I withdraw my commitment soon after the men get serious.
It does not help that I have a Venus Uranus aspect in my chart as well, although it is not a stressful aspect.
I can never make up my mind when it comes to relationships!
I want someone so badly and pursue and show them genuine interest and then when they reciprocate their feelings,I get scared of being tied down to a normal, routine relationship and leave.
The only person that I really had a soulmate connection was with a man who had a Venus Conjunct Pluto aspect and I have never gotten over him.
Interestingly enough, all the men that I was involved in these love triangles had Venus Pluto aspects(soft and hard aspects) in their charts as well!

I have a t-square with venus square n.n./pluto square moon(cancer/libra,capricorn respectively)..all i can say, its pretty painful when you fall in love, and worse than death when the relationship's over. intense fear about the other person cheating. i do find that that usually i attract someone just as intense as me.(ex has pluto in scorpio square venus in aquarius sq. mars in taurus)

Definitely feel that past life karma brought all of my major relationships into my life. As a youth, I guess I sensed this and avoided relationships and just wanted sex with no strings attached. Now it's the opposite. It has to have both elements, so that narrows down prospects so much that when you do find that one that brings both, you hold on pretty obsessively. And yes it is a good feeling when the other person seems just as obsessed.

I was researching venus square pluto yesterday and I found this pic that best describes the intensity of this aspect. Kind of like, the image of guns and roses..e.g. i made a joke about having a secret lover to my ex, and she said "i'll kill you"..kind of joking but i got the feeling she wasnt lol..and the thing about the square is, that kind of intense love makes me feel secure(venus in cancer) that's the kind of painful love, almost fatal attraction that venus sq.pluto is about.

i think the persephone in hades myth is also a great image for this square. almost as if you want to keep your love locked down for fear of losing it. Another phrase that captures venus squ. pluto is the marriage vow,"til death do us part"! Kind of scary, and a bit excessive isnt it? No wonder so many people are scared to "take the plunge"(myself included)

Would you say that normally goes hand in hand with a positve connection between these two? I've never heard of that effect with these two in positive contact, and I've Venus in 9th Pisces trine Pluto 5th Scorpio, they're quite strong in those positions.

What about Venus sextile Pluto ?

Ok, I would love to know more about how a conjunction might be expressed positively. I just created a thread with this post, but this thread seems a logical place to get some ideas...

I am fascinated by the effects pluto can have on an individual. There has been a lot of discussion on how harsh pluto aspects might manifest, but comparatively less discussion on how the issues they reflect can be resolved, leading to a life that reflects the most evolved expression of the energy of venus or any other planet that finds itself in aspect with pluto.

I happen to have a lot of pluto in my chart. Pluto in libra is conjunct mars and venus in the 12th house, close to the ascendant and in aspect to lots of my planets. This manifests as strong, often overpowering relationships which are more like obsessions. The relationships are dominating but do not ever fully manifest themselves (owing to the idealistic quality of libra?). Either they are never consummated, are affairs, or are just intense attractions (either my attraction to another or vice versa) which never become relationships. It's all getting a little annoying for me, and I am wondering how such an intense pluto presence can be worked through so that it can have a more comfortable or at least a more fulfilling expression. Any ideas?
