I am trying to understand how to interpret this. I have Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn in the fourth house, complete with the north node.

In Leo.

The Stellium indicates a particular mode of expression (sign), or area of life (house) where a good deal of attention is concentrated or focused, which may lead to bias and subjectivity or, more positively, may indicate very specialized ability.
In your case your Stellium is in the 4th house (parental house, your country house). Moreover, you said the Stellium is in Leo, also, your Sun is in his own sign. This mix of energies may contribute positively to your life.
On the other way, the presence of many planets in the 4th house, automatically emphasize the importance of the North Hemisphere. Also, your chart may have many untenanted house, which you may wish to explore during this lifetime.

Additionally, see if you have " IC " in the 4th house or in the 3rd house.

It means that themes ruled by the 4th house are extremely important to you. It could mean that you feel most like yourself when you are at home. Fourth house matters include one's early childhood conditioning, your family history/genealogy, or land in the sense of your place to live or homeland (vs. land as a source of income, which is a second house matter.) You might also have an interest in a 4th house career, such as interior design or real estate or home renovations.

Probably you are a very private person. Leo loves to be center-stage and to get the applause of her audience, but the lion also needs her den as a safe retreat, especially if she feels wounded by people. It probably matters to you to have your home-- even if it is just a bedroom in a house you share with your family or roommates-- to be decorated in good taste.

p.s. Freya's and my posts crossed in the mail. If you use a quadrant house system, your IC will always be the cusp of your 4th house. However, it could be in your third house in an equal house or whole signs house system.

It's a complicated house! Our senior member JupiterAsc left this in another post that I found helpful. You may also look to see if the midpoint of two planets give extra emphasis to a planet the midpoint conjuncts.

HOW TO PROCEED WHEN TWO OR MORE PLANTS OCCUPY A HOUSE

'....When many planets occupy the same house,
each operates according to its nature and its own other determinations

The most powerful action on the house significations will come from whichever one of the planets is also the house ruler;
then the planet in exaltation;
and in the third place, from the one possessing the closest natural analogy with the house meanings.
When the dignity and analogy are not found together in the same planet,
one must take into consideration the two or three planets together
in which these conditions are separately realized....'

'....When, among many planets occupying the same house,
some correspond by their analogy to the meanings attached to the house,
whereas others are contrary to them,
it is necessary to ascertain which of these two groups is the most powerful.
If the former, the affairs indicated will be achieved;
if the latter, their realization will be impeded or prevented....'

That is a traditional western interpretation. Nothing wrong with that. Modern western astrologers are a bit less taken with the essential and accidental dignities. Here we would look more at aspect and conjunctions. With so many planets bunched up in one house, chances are some of them are conjunct, which means that they operate as a couple (or trio, &c) depending upon how many of them are within-orb of one another. Also, if we involve planetary midpoints, two planets in a house that are out-of-orb can be linked in through a middle planet if it conjuncts their midpoint. So generally your stellium will operate more as a team than as lone individuals.

Put differently, you are like a university student with a double major: 4th House and Leo.

Me too believe me! It is my understanding that I do not have an actual stellium, as my Sun is 0degs Pis, but it is closely conjunct my Mars in Aquarius and Saturn in Aquarius, in my 4th house also! And, they all conjunct my IC so much activity there. And while I know that in Traditional Astrology the 4th house is considered 'dignified', sometimes I have wished for a much less powerful house and maybe a much better childhood? I don't know; it is what it is.

God bless

I'll let you guys see the chart - and write what I have gathered around the internet. I'm just having difficulty synthesizing it into a blurb - I'm writing an interpretation of the chart for my fiancé - who will be tickled to read it.

This is our composite:

4th house stellium

A very strong sense of intimacy.. Feeling like Family, a very Familiar feelings overall 4th house placements are good,

Leo stelliums would make someone friendly, kind hearted, so enthusiastic about things that they can come over as boastful, in some individuals arrogance. Leos can be aloof, but only to the capacity that they have high standards themselves and sometimes expect too much from others, or they are being aloof because nobody is giving them attention. Leos can be loners sometimes and are quite sensitive. They are normally choosy about who they socialise with.

A Leo stellium would emphasize the need for attention, center of stage, pride, generous to a fault etc.. These same good traits can be too emphasized and exaggerated to a point of becoming vanity etc..

Strong Leo expression - overdose

Natives with fourth house Leo shares a strong bond with family. Family is an important aspect of their life. There is a strong sense of loyalty to the other members of the family. They take great pride in home and family background. A rigid discipline in the rearing of children is passed on from generation to generation. A fourth house Leo assures a person a permanent residence and a sense of security in the later phase of his life. They are inclined towards spending the closing years of their life close to the children and grandchildren.

People with fourth house Leo tend to showcase their work and talent. They prefer a permanent place to settle down where they can grow and have some of the great times spent with their family and closed ones. The latter part of the native's life assures him some security and permanency of residence. Their home tends to be full of light and life and a center for health and fitness. They feel happy and satisfied being at home and love to spend maximum of their spare time with their family and friends. They enjoy the success of their family members and celebrate with other family members as well. Such people often take the lead in planning family activities, and enjoy developing projects on home improvement and management.

Fourth house Leo makes a native determined towards his work. Once they undertake a project, they dedicate themselves fully until it gets completed. They want to see it finished on time with perfection. They posses a natural stroke and zest for work and fun. Such people know how to maintain a balance between their work and family fun time. Fourth house Leo indicates a long and a happy life. Natives with this placement live an active life right till the end. They are adored and respected by everyone in the society for their management strategies.

Native with fourth house Leo inherits pride and ego in his attitude towards his home and family. This placement influences a significant emphasis on home environment. Such people tend to create a castle for themselves entertaining a grand fashion. They want their home to be a show place and appreciated by everyone who enters into it. Owning a piece of land would give them a sense of self-worth. Leo in the fourth house rules the roots. The native is often the decision maker at home. Other family members are not left with much choice when it comes to solving issues related to home and family.

The grandeur and exaggerated self worth is quite luxuriously exhibited in the domestic front of the native where his long cherished fantasies are realized and stand fulfilled, if not could have debilitating effect on the morale of the native. And so while all the efforts are made in that direction all this while, realizing the dream is quite an eventual probability as well a possibility.

Since Leo is fixed fire, the house with Leo on the cusp is where we stubbornly want to shine. In this house you feel a need for personal development. If you are using the positive qualities of your Sun sign in the affairs of this house, you will feel a deep sense of inner peace and contentment. In your personal birth chart, the house with Leo on the cusp is ruled by the Sun. So look to the position and sign of the Sun for more clues regarding the sphere of life with Leo on the cusp.

If Leo is on the 4th house cusp, you express your power through the home and family. Generally, your home is a showplace through which you express your creativity and status. You entertain lavishly, and those who come into your home are treated with warmth and love.

Leo north node in 4 will reward you for enjoying a toned down life at home rather than a demanding career that takes a lot of your time and effort. You could still have that career, but south node suggests you will be faced with many challenges if you decide to follow your south instead of north. North just wants you to chill at home, maybe looking after your children, inspiring them, or being a creative type. You will experience rewards when you decide to spend more time at home pursuing your inner lion. Sure sign of a domestic goddess experience/type. Do you feel like a domestic goddess?

Give yourself permission to shine. Discover that it's O.K. to be in the spotlight. Learn to accept praise and recognition for your achievements. Develop a healthy self-esteem and work on believing that you can accomplish your goals. Pay attention to what your inner child wants to do and then go for it. Play, create and follow your heart's desire. Take some calculated risks just for the fun of it.

4th HOUSE: There is a need to take the energies out of the “personal” home and put them into a professional activity that deals with 4th House issues. The home life is often tumultuous, especially finding upset with every little transit. They do well in such 4th House areas as real estate, building and construction, archeology and anthropology, history, historical preservation or activities connected with the past. It favors working with weather conditions and environmental issues. One woman helps adoptees find their biological parents. Another was a mortician! Their obsession is dwelling too much on their own past when they keep their energies in the personal sector.
The past is always a frame of reference for almost any 4th House placement, stellium or not. The individual gets emotionally stuck in the past. Getting out and working the land is very helpful. I have observed that people who work with environmental issues obsess and lose perspective about what is really workable.

The 4th house represents your inner psychological "home" ... and how comfortable you are with yourself. Much of this comes from your experiences growing up, so the 4th also represents your childhood conditioning, your actual family, and the physical home (the house). It also represents whatever home and family you create for yourself after you leave your birth home, as well as your interest in and potential for psychological growth.

The approach you take to 4th house issues will be indicated by the sign on the cusp. And if there is an intercepted sign in the 4th house, that will indicate that you have a difficult time expressing that style in 4th-house matters. Scorpio on the cusp of the 4th house indicates that everything connected with 4th-house matters is felt and approached in an intense way ... nothing lukewarm or half-way ... whether it is setting psychological complexes as a child, or overcoming them as an adult. There will be major growth and activity in 4th house matters throughout your life.

With Sun in the 4th, your self-fulfillment will come from creating a good inner and outer home for yourself.
With Mercury in the 4th, your thinking and communicating and problem-solving resolves around 4th-house matters.
With Venus there, you express you love best in a home environment, and you need to work through childhood issues before you can express yourself freely in love.
Pluto means that your home environment, and your family, and your conditioning will all be active agents for major change in your life. It also gives you the natural inclination and ability to delve deeply into your psyche and to overcome any psychological problems you acquired growing.

It indicates (particularly the presence of the Sun and Saturn in the stellium) that the relationship is based on a solid foundation. The two of you would be likely to feel very comfortable and "at home" with each other, and would also be likely to create an atmosphere of beauty and harmony (Venus and Neptune) in any home that you share together. I would hope that Saturn and Venus aren't in too close of an aspect to each other, as the conj. of Saturn and Venus could put a damper on any expression of love and affection in this relationship. Actually, Saturn is going to lend a tone of seriousness and responsibility to any planet that it touches...so if it happens to be in close aspect to any of these above planets, you just want to be conscious of it's effects and make sure that you're expressing those energies in the most positive way possible. For example, if Saturn is in close conjunction with Neptune, you want to make sure that you're being realistic about your dreams and ideals in regards to the relationship, but take care not to let too much realism kill the dreams and ideals. Closely conj. Mercury, there's going to be a seriousness to your communication, but be careful not to let it get *too* serious and dry all the time....remember to have fun with things every once in a while too....that's likely why Sagittarius is on the IC, to remind you to have a little fun with the relationship too.

4th House:
Anchor Myself.
Nourish My Roots.
Fertilize the Situation.
Ground Myself.

Ruler of __ in 4th

10th 9th 2nd 4th 12th 5th 7th

Strong cardinal aspects (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) or first, fourth, seventh, and tenth-house stelliums will respond quickly to the energy with initiative, excitement, and a desire for action. As an astrologer, you must integrate not only the sign the stellium is in, but also the house. The following are some examples of how you must blend the influences. Note that in this section I am not implying that every Sagittarius has a wide breadth of knowledge or that every Gemini is sharp, witty, outgoing, and social. I am simply describing the most obvious characteristics of each concentration of energy. A stellium in Aries or in the first house will express itself by being a pioneer, a trendsetter with incredible energy. These people will come into a room and say, Lets do this. Lets do that. Lets get going. Their energy is contagious and stimulates others to do and act. They are most comfortable working on their own and being independent. They often make great salespeople, as they are very self-actualizing and just dont take no for an answer.
A stellium in Cancer or the fourth house normally exaggerates the emotional nurturing qualities and is overly sensitive. Clients with either of these aspects have great perception and understanding of other people and the ability to lead by having intuitive insight of others. The Cancer boss comes into the room and says, How do you feel today? Hows your family? Did you get over that cold you had yesterday? I thought it would be a good idea if we did this and that. This might be a good project for today. When the boss leaves, the worker feels that he or she thought up the project, but actually the Cancer boss led him or her to it.

Was your OP about your natal chart or the composite chart?

The composite chart looks really good. The 4th house focus is advantageous for having a home together. The conjunction of sun-moon-Venus shows a lot of compatibility.

It was about the composite. Yes - thank you for noticing. We personally believe we were together in previous lives... Our synastry is off the charts (soulmates), composite takes care of our ideals, and goals as a couple. We will bring a spiritual revolution to the world - me, astrology, he - his thing. Acknowledgement of spiritual (psychic) gifts, perhaps.

Tell me this chart is not crafted. Even uranus is neutered.

We are both old souls. :)

I am trying to understand how to interpret this. I have Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn in the fourth house, complete with the north node. In Leo.

It means that home, feeling at home, traditions, grand-parents, feeling nurtured or nurturing people are key themes for you. Having all those planets in the 4th house means that these are fundamental to your personality and to the way your life unfolds. It also suggest that intimacy and feeling safe in a cocoon (i.e., protected) is essential for you. Having the North node there also means that overcoming your karmic life challenge has to do with traditions (at least at some level).

Hello, I have something similar as well, I have Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury in 4th house, I've read than a sun in 4th house means success in life late in life, but I'm not comfortable with that! Anyone else? Maybe someone can give me a clear understanding,
My Sun is in Scorpio
Venus in Scorpio
Moon in Libra
Mercury in Scorpio
