What type of profession would the future partner have?

I have seen many different vedic methods for predicting this...I am somewhat confused now as to what house I am actually supposed to look at in my own chart to get an idea of what the possible profession/career of my future marriage partner would be.

A few methods said to look at 7th house ruler and 5th house ruler, along with planets in the 7th and 5th.

I have Saturn ruling my 7th, no planets in the 7th, Pluto rules my 5th (Scorpio) with Venus, Mercury, and Pluto all conjunct in the 5th.

I have no idea what kind of profession this would lead a possible partner to have....

is this the correct method for even figuring out such a thing?

I can't speak to Vedic astrology, and I notice you've posted on the general board.

Your spouse is a 7th house matter. One's career (in the sense of vocation) is a 10th house matter. So the career of one's spouse would be the 10th from the 7th house, or radix chart's 4th house. (When you turn houses like this, you start counting from the initial house of interest as #1.)
