Hi mnicole. I would read your Uranus as being in the 11th house, though it will probably still influence your vocation strongly because it is a ruler of your ascendant and conjuncts your Sun. Sun in 11th adds to your Uranian streak also.

So your 10th house is more straightforward now - with Mercury and Sagittarius both having to do with learning, and Saturn being in its natural house. My take on it is that knowledge and communication will figure strongly in the way you achieve self-respect and establish a useful and secure place in society.

What grabs me about your chart is that watery grand trine, which is unusual in that it involves lots of personal planets and the orbs are mostly tight. It also affects your 10th house because Jupiter rules the MC and the 10th house planets (because they are in Sagittarius.) How do you feel the grand trine plays out in your life?

Thank you micquar
At the moment I am torn between persuing jobs in intercultural communication, (helping buisnesses or individuals with crosscultural communication), and fashion design/styling. I feel that I will always be changing jobs through out my life, which suits me well I love traveling. As you can tell by my chart, there are many contradictions. I feel like two people at times, which Saggitarius' feel in general. My moon and watery trine seem to highten that sensibility. I am very compassionate towards helping people and most people tend to like me, I try to be as genuine as possible. (Aquarius assendent)
I was told I have a "nurse"/mother thereasa personality but I am so imageitive and drawn to fantasy (water influence). I need more practicality and stablity in my life without becoming bored...a huge challange lol :joyful:

(Aquarius assendent) aquarius is pure logic, not overly sensitive or compassionate. I'm 1' Aquarius rising and it really makes us good 'talkers' in a detached, logical way

You have 5out of 10planets in water element which makes you sensitive and emotional and poss psychic to. Your chart lacks the element of air, i call this 'sweeping statement syndrome' without enough thought behind speech patterns, or saying things to get a reaction. your neptune is also a singleton ie: only planet in earth element which your chart lacks...

you are not a typical Saggi either as sun in conjunct Uranus and neptune.
Which makes you much more Aquarian at times and then other times, much more pisces/neptune. I bet you read up on Saggi and wonder where your traits are??

I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..

So Saturn, uranus, sun and neptune would all be 11th house naturally ruled by Aquarius. this is the house of friends, groups, large organisations, and hopes and wishes.
You do have a water grand trine but also a bucket shape chart with moon as handle..

Basic astrology
Now basically your sun sign is your 'core beliefs, values, ego' and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what's going on underneath. What's going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.

So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck of the milk bottle....

Now aspects within a natal chart represent 'facets' of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is 'break down and compartmentalise' these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to 'see yourself' and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy...

Remember back to your school days an opposition is 180', square 90', trine 120', and sextile 60' Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don't) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies.

your mercury is Saggi is in it's detriment in this sign and quite challenged by squares. your MC ruler is Jupiter and posited in 2nd house conj mars, which is good for earninng money and involved in water grand trine.

Career options are assessed by MC any planets conjunct, where the ruler of MC is placed, it’s aspects, then 2nd house ‘how you earn your money’ and planets there, ruler of cusp and where it’s placed, then 6th house of ‘type of work you do’ any planets there and how they are aspected.

Researching rulers of houses will help you understand more where I joining the dots so to speak

Cancer ruling 6th house of work and moon in 6th (Equal) and conjunct it's cusp in placidus, so within 5' of house cusp is said to be more effective in the next house along going anticlockwise.

Moon in 6th House
With the Moon in the Sixth House your feeling and instinctive nature will find expression in work or service to the family or local community. Your day-to-day response to circumstance is strongly conditioned by health issues and your general emotional well being. You have a very sensitive nature and are easily hurt, therefore, care is required in this area because strong negative emotions will have a detrimental effect upon your health and general ability to cope with the demands of daily living. You will feel a sense of security by emotionally identifying with your work or career

have cancer ruling 6th and posited in 3rd (communications) conj 4th house (family) and it plays out for me like - if there is lots of bitching and backstabbing it would really upset you emotionally, to the point where you may not function properly. Moon in cancer is very sensitive, moody, nostalgic and a *worrier* Wherever moon is, is where we seek nurturance and give it out. So do you mother or feel maternal towards co-workers?

Hi Jenuine. Intercultural communication sounds great for Mercury in Sagittarius in the 10th, with Uranus in the 11th opening your understanding to 'alien' groups and ruling your ascendant. And the ruler of your MC and 10th house planets, and Sun being in Pisces puts you in touch with the collective feelings from which fashions arise.

With that grand trine in water I suspect that you'll just be able to trust and follow your feelings.

thanks again for all this info! I will probably be doing some sort of community work after going back to school. But currently I am an elementary school English teacher. It's tough work at times, but I empathize with the kids. I am going to be a nanny, also fits well for me I think. I have realized I become to mothering (I'm the oldest in the family too). I also know that too much of the backstabbing and bitching (ie politics, law, and buisness in general) don't appeal to me. I need to strengthen myself and watch for those who take advantage of me or don't want my help.

One more thing I would like some advice on; Why is it that Taurus' are so attracted to me? seems like I can't walk by one with out them "falling in love" with me. Don't think I could settle with a dependable bull
THANKS AGAIN!

Hi mnicole. Thanks for the feedback. Earth signs are often attracted to fire, because in perceiving the world through the senses they can feel the lack of meaning and vision, which your fire could provide. Taurus also is often attracted to Scorpio because opposite signs compliment one another, but why you should attract Taurus rather than another earth sign I don't really know.

Its not surprising that you don't want to settle down with a stable earth type at the moment - you're still exploring the other three elements that are much stronger than earth in your chart. But later in life you might start to feel more inclined to bring a bit of earth into your life through a partner to finish the jigsaw, so to speak. It could be that you need a bit now and that's why something in you is attracting Taurus types. Keep in mind that a Sun in Taurus might also have lots of fire or air or Scorpio that prevents them bein too stable and stagnant!

When looking at a woman’s chart the type of man she would look for is her sun sign and mars traits, plus 7th house planets and house cusp ruler and where that ruler was deposited.
When looking at a mans chart for the type of woman he would look for is his venus and moon sign and then 7th house planets and house cusp ruler and where that ruler was deposited.

So your sun in Saggi (fire) and mars in water (pisces) and 7th house cusp (marriage house) in Leo ruled by Sun and sun is posited in 11th, showing your want partners, to be part of your friends, circle and group activities.

upto11' taurus would fall in your 3rd house of communications, neighbourhood, over this would fall in your 4th (equal house)

Usually, I find that anyone's sun that falls in my first house ie: Aquarus there is an immediate affinity and link, in your case they would have to be after 11' mid to late Aquarius. Also you sun conj Uranus will strongly overshadow and influence your sun's expression, making your come over as 'very Aquarian'
