Me, Myself and Lottery

Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering about money in the months to come. So here is my sr 2013/2014. After 6 months, I'm still unemployed ans I just need money, that's my concern of the moment... When I look my Solar return, I see money and even abundance ( Jupiter conjunct Moon in the 8th house). More, I see social recognition (Sun in the midheaven). I finally thought that I could win at the national lottery ( the 8 th house..., no inheritance is possible ! ) as finding a job in France where I live is like a haystack in a needle.
Could you tell me what you see ?
I will post my bith chart to complete this post to see the transits ( Jupiter transiting the midheaven, Saturn trine midh.) and my symbolic progressions ( 1 year = 1°: progressed midh. conjunct Venus, progressed Venus conjunct Sun, Uranus conjunct Neptune, Mars conjunct Saturn and square Uranus, Moon sextile Mars).

If you have the feeling to do it, just look at this and tell me what you see please... I 'm not a beginner in astrology but this time, I'm just wondering a lot...

I can't say whether or not you will win the lottery, but how would you describe your basic money-management skills? Even people who win a lottery oftentimes end up in debt, because they spend the money, accumulate credit card debt, and then they are worse off than before. Do you know how to handle large sums of money such that it will be in the bank for you in the future?

The modern ruler of your second house of money in your natal chart is Pluto. With Pluto in the 12th house and squaring Mars, I do think that money-management is a big problem for you. The traditional ruler, Mars, is in the 9th house and much better aspected, which makes me wonder if you would do better looking for work in another country.

Your solar return chart shows the second house ruler, Saturn, in a house dealing with hopes and wishes for the future. Appropriately enough.

The best thing you can do is to develop some basic personal finance skills. Then if you do win the lottery, you will know how to manage it.

Waybread, I think you saw Pluto squaring Mars but it's squaring the Moon actually, what is no better anyway...
The way to handle a big amount of money coming my way is not a problem because I THINK SERIOUSLY about this possibility and I'm sure about myself, about the way I would not change that into a mess. It would be a real blessing that I wouldn't spoil.
The thing is: parallelly to my SR, my natal chart is quite focused on the 8th house, and hints around it. My 8th house is in Taurus: the Moon is proeminent in the midheaven, Venus in the 11th house, make beautiful aspects including a parallel and a trine with Jupiter and a sextile to Mars lord of the 2th house . Venus lors of my 1st house, like Saturn, is in Leo.
Ok, that is not significatively clear but the question is: what about my 2014 perspectives regarding Progresions, SR and transits combined ?

To find a work in another country is a real issue but I'm not a beatnik unfortunately. I won't go anywhere with just 10$ in my pocket... And concretely, I'm qualified with many skills but not technical skills like finance or informatics so I'm not sure to be exportable so easiliy...

I think that lottery is 11th house thing - "pennies from heaven"

while 8th house can represent other people's money in games where you have single known opponent like bookie, casino etc.

I also think about this 11th house which contains in my natal chart, as I mentioned it before, Venus in Leo, lord of my 1st and 8th house, and blessed with beautifuls aspects like 2 sextiles to Mars and Mercury, and a trine to Jupiter.
Particularly this year, my Midheaven progressed by 38° ( my age is 38) is conjunct this Venus, and Venus progresses by 38° is conjunct my Sun in Libra conjunct Pluto in the 12th house. Indeed, winning a great amount would be a secret.
Still looking at my 11th house in my natal, the thing is the lord is the Sun and in my SR, we see the Sun is at the midheaven...
So, I'm of course not sure of anything but I will maybe win some money thanks to pure luck or I will find the love of my life, which would be the greatest blessing...

You have to be careful of reading into your chart what you want to read into it. The 8th house of "shared resources' generally means money from a marriage, investments, life insurance, inheritances or stocks. I don't see it quite so much as winning the lottery. If anything lotteries would be a 5th house matter, as it relates to gambling.

To consider the matters of a house, we generally look at the planet ruling the sign on the house cusp, and see what it does by its own house and aspects with other planets.

If you wish to focus on your 8th house moon-Jupiter in the SR chart, then the square from Uranus (or Mercury from that matter) can indicate sudden change: if you come into money suddenly, you may lose it just as quickly. In your natal chart, your 5th house of gambling is ruled by Saturn, square Uranus.

I hope you do win the lottery, but trying to make money through it is generally for the "mathematically challenged," unless the person has a very strong 5th house.

Actually I agree with your focus on my natal square Saturn/Uranus both lords of my 5th house...
The thing is I see this SR like very promising in the financial matters so, dumb as I can be, I think about lottery. It can be so much others things I guess...
