Is Mars in the 8th house a terrible placement?

Apparently, I'm going to end up in a car accident. Is this bad a placement? I rarely drive and have anxiety over it, and I have a heavy earth influence. Will I end up like Princess Diana?

In both the charts you submitted, Aries is on the cusp of the 8th and Mars rules Aries. So Mars is the ruler of the 8th, rather than in it.

That said, some interpret Aries on the 8th as pointing to a sudden death. And example might be with a massive stroke or heart attack or some kind of accident. But it does not mean you will be in an auto accident or does it indicate when you demise will be.

So you may want to relax a bit and smell the roses, and know that the very moment of death is sudden for all of us.

I've got a stellium in the 8th, with moon, mars, saturn and pluto, each suggesting a different form of death. Life's too short, I'm not angsting about it!

I read these placements as having the potential to be a great actor-- or having the ability to transform identity/character.
Scorpio Rising, Scorpio Pluto in the third house, Mid-heaven in Gemini, Mercury in Cancer (trine Pluto in 3rd), Moon in Libra in the first house (as well as having Sun/Moon, cardinal planets, in cardinal houses)-- it seems that you probably have the ability to get really imaginative with words and are probably able to dig really deep into the human emotion. Do you write much?
I don't think that you have to look at this/these placement(s) as a physical/violent death-- instead I believe you can transform its subjects as well as its meaning and be passionate and energetic in your (many) creative ways.
