I was right in telling him the truth?

I told my boyfriend about a personal problem I have. But as he is out from the city right now I write him and email telling him such thing.


I want to know if I was right being honest about me? If it prejudice the relationship or if it will improve it?


Is very important to me to know the answer because I tell a complicated problem.
