Is he telling the truth?

Hi,

My situation is very bad. Me and my partner were stuck in a financial situation.

I just had an argument with him now. He is saying he has the money we needed but he is waiting for his payment. Which I doubt is a bluff. He says he will get paid and will bring the needed funds on time.

Is he telling the truth that he is waiting for the payments?

It looks like he isn't lying.
