Combustion based on flawed logic?

Interesting article but i fail to see the logic of combustion.

By day all planets are invisible,so why was it so importante for medieval astrologers
Apparently you read just the article - but the article has footnotes

i.e.
QUOTE

'........ Traditionally, Astrology has to do with light and sight.
basis derives from direct observation of the sky,
therefore
the amount of light carried by a planet,

the way that light was seen (dimmer or brighter)
and its colour
were determinative in interpretation
.

Although not always made clear, these ideas form the cornerstone of the astrological system........'

Furthermore
it is your assumption that is flawed - not the logic of combustion

i.e.
Many of us have seen the Moon in the daytime

Under the right conditions
,

Venus can be seen with the sun also in the sky
by anyone with good eyesight and patience
when Venus is well situated for this observation.
Venus appears as a tiny white dot
which often seems to “pop” out at you once you find it.
At night, Venus is usually brilliant.
Daytime sky observations of Venus are more difficult
but nevertheless possible

You can see the Moon at times, not always. But ok
From my chart how do you think the Sun affects me.A lot of planets are under the beams. My doubt is whether to use Sun as 4th ruler or 3rd ruler(whole sign house)
thanks

You can see the Moon at times,

not always
.

But ok
That is one of the reasons astrological charts with the same moonsign nevertheless differ

furthermore

its not just the Moon that is often visible during daytime

but also
as I just mentioned on my previous post

Venus
is visible during daytime
given the right conditions

Even Jupiter can be glimpsed with the unaided eye in a sunlit sky

BUT
this is not an easy observation
because Jupiter is significantly dimmer than Venus,

and finding it takes exceptionally good eyesight and excellent atmospheric conditions.

The best time is near a “quadrature”
when Jupiter is about 90 degrees away from the sun in the sky.
This is similar to the arrangement of first quarter and last quarter moon.
And it's also helpful to have a quarter moon nearby as a kind of sky landmark to guide one to Jupiter.
The reason you want the planet at about 90 degrees from the sun
is that the sky is slightly darker there, due to a phenomenon known as polarization

info regarding visibility of planets during daylight hours is sourced from earthsky.org

As ou can see above my main planets are combust or under the beams but I fail to see the relation betwen IC in Leo(father) and 9th house issues(travel, religion). My father had no overseas connections or any inclination to travel. I got an inheritance when he died though. But if sun was in 8th ,Leo would be in 3rd house

Perhaps Vedic will answer your questions. What are your birth details?

That does not make combustion 'flawed logic'

You can't see the planet rising or setting at all for a few days (which is why I personally do not think that the New Moon can be combust). And by the way it is not medieval, nor Hellenistic, it goes to Babylonian astrologers, or it might be more ancient.
