I've been a semi (maybe just quarter :tongue:) serious learner of Astrology for the past 4 years, and this is the first forum I've joined. I hope to further my study of Astrology here :)

When looking for answers begin with the PLANET
for example SUN http://www.skyscript.co.uk/sun.html
MOON http://www.skyscript.co.uk/moon.html

then assess the SIGN location of the planet
for example GEMINI http://www.skyscript.co.uk/gemini.html
TAURUS http://www.skyscript.co.uk/taurus.html

and/or ascendant
for example LEO http://www.skyscript.co.uk/leo.html

next consider the associations of the HOUSE http://www.skyscript.co.uk/temples/h1.html
for example 1st House http://www.skyscript.co.uk/temples/h2.html
2nd House http://www.skyscript.co.uk/temples/h2.html

a Leo ascendant could have their Sun in any of the twelve signs
and that makes an important difference
because for example
your ascendant ruler is in the MERCURY-ruled SIGN of GEMINI
so another important factor is that your natal sun is influenced by MERCURY to some extent
