wrongRidiculous, given the place and times he grew up in.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Just another lie, like so many others he's told.
correctDidn't he stop alcohol
after his brother died from alcoholism
i.e. he changed at a certain point?
prior to brother passingClaims he NEVER ONCE used ANY alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs.
Does brag about sex, lots of sex, and worrying about STDs.
If you know the milieu in the cities during the late 1960's
and all through the 1970's,
prior to his brother passing in 1981,
it would have taken something like deep religious convictions,
which he's never claimed to have, to stop him from at least trying alcohol
before deciding not to drink.
Cocaine was huge, and went with promiscuity.
It's the claim that he never experimented that I find ridiculous.
david sterling: Have you yet to understand the president has a tendency to exaggerate? I don't believe he's NEVER touched the stuff but I believe he has a deep commitment to live that life. Also, I find it admirable for the president to express that commitment to the nation of no drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes for our children's welfare. Unfortunately they have parents telling them he's a big liar. :-(
