I finally got my butt into gear and switched over to tiny pic so I could post my natal chart.

Emphasis please on Pluto and Mars.
Also please, explain the Vertex as I am not familiar with that.

Just a beginner, so please take all of this with a good scattering of salt. Could be wrong, ridiculous, or misleading. No self-revelation expected re: private matters. Also, no offense intended! Some things you'll have to research (because I would also have to).

There seems to be a seesaw pattern between the upper left quadrant (public life and higher self) and lower left quadrant (private life and personal self), with Pluto as the fulcrum. Maybe you feel like you are living two different lives which alternate in importance or are sometimes in conflict, and you have different costumes and presentations of self for the two lives.

Pluto in Scorpio in your first house. This seems to indicate a really intense and probing personality with a strong intuition or piercing gaze, possibly a Rasputin vibe. People might shy away from you, which might make you feel like an outcast or outsider.

Uranus in the second house of possessions and material resources, including your own body. It's approaching conjunction with Neptune in the house of communication and siblings, both planets in Capricorn. This is a generational aspect but I think the way it is placed in your 2nd and 3rd houses might have to do with putting utopian dreams into practice on Earth, with the help of internet communication.

Uranus in the second house might indicate a socialist or communal attitude toward material possessions. Or maybe people keep stealing your stuff. You might also be an early adopter of transhuman upgrades.

Mars in Libra square Uranus might indicate a preference for open or multiple sexual relationships and maybe a broad taste or fluid sexuality. Maybe there is some conflict here, such as aggression, possessiveness, or anger that is at odds with utopian intentions.

Pluto square Venus indicates some kind of conflict between personal intensity and harmony with others, maybe career difficulties because of it.

However, Mercury provides some amelioration with both Pluto-Venus square and Mars-Uranus square. Your intelligence, quick wit, and way with words can help with these, but you also have to remember not to be overwhelming or overbearing.

Despite all this putative intensity, things look good in your 10th house of career or public role. From Venus, Mercury, and Jupiter, I'm guessing something involving the arts, communication, and some kind of benevolent organization.

Sun in Virgo indicates someone who is practical, meticulous, maybe perfectionistic. The 11th house covers teachers, mentors, and benefactors (in both directions). Maybe you are likely to seek teachers and mentors as well as become one yourself, e.g., as in a Kung-Fu lineage (which might explain Mars in that house).

Mars in Libra seems to indicate learning how to use your personal power in a balanced way, i.e., just enough power or least force necessary, and maybe this will be a lesson you pass on to others.

Hoping this helps and even if it's way off-base, I hope it's in a helpful way, e.g., things to cross off as absolutely not true.

Best wishes and thank you for this opportunity,
MB

Don't take offense.

Or do but don't be subversive in that.

First - you don't believe in astrology, why you here - esssssaaaayyyy?
Playing Randi?! Lol.

You said emphasis on Mars in Pluto,
if you're a man:
Mars = you like long haired pretty women, from their head down to their toes, sweet, nonconfrontational, BEAUTIFUL, and you're very skilled... at... er Oral Representation (Mars lords over physical aptitude). I have Mars here too, btw - but, I like men - and likewise am great at oral representation! You feel that unjust events are deplorable, with Mars here.

Pluto = I have the same placement as you here, but my Merc is also here, if you're a man or a lady this tells us that you're gifted with keen observation, we make the best covert agents, PI's, detectives, considered Natural lie detectors. Death colors are lives, we know a lot of people that have met an early end or strange end. We are highly sexual, even when not having sex, we probe, penetrate, and are natural psychologist.

You didn't ask on Mercury, but it's important to look at that when looking at Mars and Pluto, mine is also in Mercury, meaning I read people just by sniffing their phermones.

Any hoot, darling: Your Mercury is in Virgo, so you're fascinated by the esoteric, you like to learn about it and you can read ANIMALS minds, pets, and the like. You're also prone to hyprochondria and your house is either very clean or filthy, but you know what's in every pile!! You're a nicer person with the Virgo influence (my moon is there too).

You have heavy scorpio and cap in your chart = you don't believe too much in astrology, you believe in YOU. And, you hate being called out....

So, don't take offense, in your heart you're a good man, who loves a babe with great music taste, theatrical flair, and who will yell at you when you're too much of a dick.

Because, you're a pimp, Sir.

I DO believe in Astrology and am very fond of it. But I was working strictly out of astrology books and had no internet access for some time.
Chinese Astrology by Shelly Wu
The New Astrology by Suzanne White
The Only Book of Astrology You'll Ever Need by Suzanne Woolfolk
Astrology for Dummies by Rae Orion (Ed. 2)
The Night Speaks by Steven Forrest
The Book of Pluto by Steven Forrest
MythAstrology by Raven Kaldera
I have two Ephemerides and a rough outline that helps me do charts.

But apparently there's so much more that none of these books covered during
"my time away"

I am a homoaffectionate male, Age 26, with a tendency to... with a certain relativism in regards to relationships. I tend to stray.
I have a few convictions on my record, and a history of substance abuse.

Thank you kindly. It means a lot to me.

Could someone also give me an insight into Chiron sitting up there near the Midheaven?

Thank you as well. I'm starting to get the impression that a lot of people who ask for readings here never bother to reply back or even click the Thanks button.

My immediate take on Chiron in the 9th house opposite your Moon is that there might have been some really deep religious harm in your youth. How Leo factors in, I couldn't say (Level 1 beginner here).

Or maybe a source of pain in your life is that you do believe in Someone or Something behind the scenes, and would like to find a religious or spiritual group to belong to, but none of them feel comfortable, so are kind of in exile in your spiritual life.

Maybe transits to Chiron will provide opportunities for healing. Remember that Chiron = Wounded Healer and this might also lead to you helping others somehow.

I like that word you used, "homoaffectionate". "Homoappreciative" would be another good one, I think.

I tried to use non-normative language in the relationship area. I would prefer to have several affililations myself and keep some level of independence, but primal instincts sometimes work against that and people can still feel hurt and betrayed even if one is up front about that.

If you search theastrocodex.com for "vertex" you can find a page about its placement in the 8th house specifically. I don't know anything about the vertex, so will defer to other sources about that.

Sincere commiserations about the substance abuse (especially if it's an addiction or compulsion as opposed to being substance enjoyment with legal consequences) -- also one of my long-term struggles. Maybe someone could comment on possible ameliorating factors in your chart?

Wishing you the best,
MB

I do have this deep antipathy towards "God" and Jesus as well as the Bible... BUT I do not disbelieve in their existence. While I will bad-mouth, I am still superstitious, even though I take stock in the Ancient Alien "Theory", astrology and even science which is hostile to both the former but presents compelling evidence against creationism.

I like that word you used, "homoaffectionate". "Homoappreciative" would be another good one, I think.

Homoaffectionate, heteroflexible... same thing in my mind. But I have an overwhelming emotional and sexual preference for guys.
Bisexual ain't the word.
But I will say that these labels the past 5 years have gotten pretty ridiculous.

So one last question before I give up on this thread... and I feel maybe I took a wrong approach to it which is why I didn't really get the analysis I was looking for (rven though I did state honestly that after this thread concludes I plan to stick with this forum as a member of it's community).

Mars in Libra in the 12th House: What does that specific trifecta mean?
