What makes American English different is, we pinched it from England. So, most of us don't have strict rules about how it's pronounced, as long as we can understand what's being communicated.

I really hate how the forum proofing makes correct British spelling of words in red like realise and colour, and wants me to write realize and color.

Hindustani (Hindi: हिन्दुस्तानी,Urdu: ہندوستانی‎,[ˌɦɪnd̪ʊsˈt̪aːniː], lit. Ďof Hindustaní), colloquially known by some as Hamari/Apni Boli (lit. our language) and historically also known as Hindavi, Dehlavi, Hindi, and Rekhta. It is the lingua franca of North India and Pakistan. It is an Indo-Aryan language, deriving its base primarily from the Khariboli dialect of Delhi. The language incorporates a large amount of vocabulary from Prakrit, Persian and Arabic, as well as Sanskrit (via Prakrit and Tatsama borrowings).

the Chinese travel world-wide, presumably not completely silently, saying nothing
and are frequently to be seen in most cities worldwide
often as students
possibly even keen to learn English

Was Gandhi stupid?
unfortunately no IQ test of Gandhi is not on record online
and so

one wonders to what extent Gandhis IQ could have varied
if conducted
either in
a) worldwide spoken English
or
b) Hindustani

Nearly all memes, graphs, tables and pictures include text in English.

Also, someone with enough computer skills could link a non-English speaker to a translated version of the topic in his/her own native language.
