Hello everyone,

As you may have guessed I'm new around here and this is my first post. I would like to say that I've had renewed interest in astrology since experiencing Saturn Return, which has turned my world upside down!

I'm hoping to make new friends and learn more about myself through astrology, and hopefully discover my life goals. I have already been studying my own natal chart through various websites such as cafeastrology and astroseek, but not 100% certain as I only know that my time of birth is around 1:30 pm.

I intend to post my natal chart and get some opinions from some of the more experienced members, but for now here are my planet and house placements.

I'll give a rundown on my analysis from just what you put here..


ASC: Libra - you like to wear nice clothing and to appear to have good taste and style.


MC: Cancer

Sun: Cancer 10th House
Moon: Cancer 10th House
Mercury: Cancer 10th House
Mars: Cancer 10th House
Lilith: Cancer 10th House

10th house Cancer and the amount of energy stored here is detrimental to family life and how it works for you. You appear to have alot of emotional energy. Being a water sign that is normal, but also because Lilith is present you use it to your advantage at times. All your actions (Mars) is about how you feel (Moon). You also communicate (Mercury) with what you feel, if you dont honor that feeling you end up being sick or in a worst scenario than if you just said it.

* I have a friend who has Sun in Cancer in 10th house, and he is sort of the glue to his family structure although they are a detriment to him.


Venus: Gemini 9th House

You may find that you are drawn to dramatic arts that give you a sense of higher learning or attunement to life in the spiritual sense.


Jupiter: Aries 7th House
North Node: Aries 7th House

You are in luck here as your looks/identity should give way to a relationship that may benefit you financially. Aries being about identity and 7th house is about Relationships.

I have been trying to get a feeling for my own chart and have always felt things weren't as clear to me as they should be. Not sure if this is an aspect from Neptune. What you have described does sound a lot like me, and yes I'm so emotional I don't know whether I'm coming or going at times. I do have trouble communicating and feel like I'm misunderstood a lot of the time. I feel like having Mars in Cancer is just a bad placement because I feel so restricted when it comes to that energy and it is difficult to be assertive. I feel like this may be linked to Aries in North Node (as far as goals are concerned) and is preventing me from stepping out of the Libra personality.

I still need to post my chart, should I reply with it here or is there another section I can post it?

This makes a lot of sense, as family is very important to me, but at the same time seems to become a blockage with every step I take. I thought that with this much emphasis in the 10th house I would be quite successful, but now it has become obvious its always been a toss between my own ambitions and family.

This has not become very apparent in my life as of yet. I know I have hard aspects in Venus making relationships a problem. The struggle has been with independence vs dependence, which I can't seem to balance in a relationship. However, when I'm not in a relationship, the only thing I can think about is being in a relationship, which still distracts me from my goals.

Since my Saturn Return, I have been seriously questioning my career choices and higher education goals. As of right now, I'm a maintenance worker for the public library branches, and have pretty much been in maintenance for the majority of my job history, aside from some factory work. Recently I have been considering higher education in maintenance or massage therapy.
