Should I change psychiatrist?

The first two years were pretty good, he is a nice guy, but ultimately I feel my psychiatrist quite unaccesible. I don't know if its my imagination but since the pandemic, he has been quite unreachable and each time I see him he sends me less and less feedback. Maybe he is going on someone in his private life, because I see him a little emaciated.

The medication management hasn't been the best from my point of view. At the beginning it was fine, but now I am quite dependent on benzodyacepines, without them I cant have repairing sleep, and they are under control, so buying them is a pain in the *ss. So now I have the hunch that I should look for someone else that can help me better for my mental health.

I can't give my own try on this chart because I don't know which house rules my actual psychiatrist and which one rules the other "hypothetical" psychiatrist that I havent even search for. I dont want to land with someone worse or even a bad person.

But I want to know if it is factible to change of psychatrist for the better or shoud I give a chace to the actual one.

I think you might benefit from changing psychiatrists. Doctors are a 7th house matter in a health inquiry, secondarily Mars. You're Jupiter, he's Mercury. Although both these planets are domiciled, they are in detriment in one another's signs, and the two make no major aspect. There's a small exchange of essential dignity (faces) but it's not a strong bond.

The moon is your emotional stake in the matter. It's next and final aspect is a trine to Venus in the 7th house. Although she might be a co-significator for your present psychiatrist, I wonder if you might find a woman psychiatrist.

Dependency on sleep medication is not a good thing, so you might benefit from a different sleep regimen, as well.

I would change a psychatrsit because moon separates from L7 which is your current one who is retro gemini - no reception to you

plus venus will be exalting Jup. she will understand you better
also 2nd specialist will change your treatment because treatment is also venus that is about to go through a change.

Today I told my mother how I was feeling and she just recommended me a female psychiatrist. (she's not my mom's psychiatrist though).

I just scheduled a consultation with her tomorrow. She has a good rep.
