an unarmed black kid in 2012.
An interesting decision on a motion to dismiss in this libel lawsuit.

From today's decision
by Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell (M.D. Fla.):
The court dismissed the lawsuit
because it concluded that it lacked personal jurisdiction
over Buttigieg and Warren, but
in a way that should be easily cured by amendment:
Applying the rationale of the Florida Supreme Court
in Internet Sols., the Court finds that
Zimmerman has not pleaded sufficient facts
to show that Defendants committed a tortious act within Florida
such that long-arm jurisdiction exists.
The complaint alleges merely that Defendants' tweets received national media coverage
and in particular in the state of Florida
including but not limited to Polk County.
There is not one allegation that either tweet was directed to a specific person in Florida
or accessed by a person in this forum.
Zimmerman has until March 9 to file an amended complaint.

which sold to an anonymous buyer for $250,000 in 2016.
Zimmerman advertised the firearm as a "..piece of American history.."
UnitedGunGroup.com eventually hosted the auction, with bids starting at $5,000.
GZ also tried to sue the media, unsuccessfully.
In June 2014, a Florida judge dismissed a defamation lawsuit Zimmerman filed against NBC in 2012
In the last decade, the now 39-year-old has clung onto the case, seemingly to profit
His last reported public appearance GZ was scheduled to speak at the Lethal Force Gun Laws 2021:
Tactics & Strategies Conference at the Riverside Hotel, Idaho.
However, hotel management canceled the event
after learning that Zimmerman was due to speak
and give a '..step-by-step narrative..' of the shooting that killed Martin.
In a statement, management said:
"..We recognize the immense pain that George Zimmerman has inflicted on many of our guests,
team-members and community. With their respect and safety as our priority
we have canceled the event. We are unequivocally opposed
to providing George Zimmerman a platform and he is not welcome at The Riverside Hotel.."
So after reading this y'all don't believe Matthew Apperson was really defending himself against a murderer
cause it literally looks like he's the only person that did
and he's the one locked up for it. Make sense?????
There is clearly enough evidence to charge Zimmerman with a hate crime
for violating Martin’s civil rights, not sure why he keeps getting away with abuse, stalking and assault
