Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

Knowing him, that probably made him exasperated. Hopefully one day he will have a little more objectivity to go along with his objectivism.

He's going the way of the social skeptic. I'd link him up a remedial website but then he'd call it idiotic dismissively.

I knew he'd leave when Saturn got going in Cap. His materialistic side got the better of him.

I kind of liked Us better than Get Out (despite the gory violence which I really don’t care for) because it just messes with you in the right ways. Get Out constellates all that frustrating rage we were alluding to a few days ago that people can’t push back against “ordinary” injustices but at least it brings them up in a fun way

Saturn will oppose his Sun the moment it hits Aquarius. Does that alter your prediction? Many people come on here in periods of crises. This forum is like a crossroads for lost people. It brings to mind what Jung speaks about in regard to the significance of the mandala in times of psychological disintegration.

No, it fits. His Cap rising has been responding to Saturn, making astrology irrelevant to him. His Sun opposite Saturn will bring out his interest in deeper subjects than school or work.

"This forum attracts the lost and the wounded" - 4 other members who shall not be named.

Wonder if its the nature of esoteric topics in general to attract such sorts. Or perhaps this forums natal.....

Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

I think that if someone is looking for answers and they end up in the fringe then they probably are at a tough spot, since all the "regular" avenues don't work for them. Then any place that purports to be a vehicle for self-discovery and transformation are going to attract people who are looking for just that.

The forum has a lot of air, some planets in the 3rd house and a 7th house Moon. Sounds about right for an internet forum. Apparently this was supposed to be a love forum but they changed it, but it's still interesting because this place is filled with people talking about their love lives or lack thereof.

Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

Apparently the proclivity for self-awareness is tied with trait neuroticism in the OCEAN personality system. Might have something to do with the lost and wounded types who make it on these places since neurotics are more susceptible to feelings of pain/they feel pain more acutely.

You’re not implying that the rest of y’all are normal, I hope.

When you live a certain lifestyle, being normal is useless.

They say you are the average of the 5 people closest to you. The trait that's most common among that set for me are that they are all workaholics. What do you notice?

Behavior and ideas that are considered normal now, weren't considered normal in earlier times , and vice versa. So, normality is transitory.

I like being abnormal.

I don't know about the 5 people closest to me. I'm not sure I can list 5, but magic and occult interests is definitely a common denominator in 3.
