I'm Scared About My Strange Birth Chart! What Does It Say About Me? Please Help!

I just recently got into astrology so that I can understand myself a little bit better. When I first saw my birth chart, I thought it was interesting that my planets were bundled in one place. But the more I analyzed it, the worse I felt about myself.

Every planetary configuration seems to point to someone who is extremely selfish, hedonistic, unlikable and unattractive. My first house stellium and badly aspected Moon, Jupiter and Venus are what I'm concerned about. I don't relate to anything in my birth chart except the fact that I have a powerful Neptune. I always thought of myself as intuitive, quiet, imaginative, creative and empathetic but everything else in this chart seems to contradict that.

I honestly struggle to see any interesting talents or capabilities. All I see is someone who is superficial and immature.

What do you see in my personality? Is there a part in this chart that I'm not noticing? Are there any talents in my chart to speak of (psychic abilities, creative abilities, etc)?

I have attached a copy of my chart to this post. Thanks!

I have felt out your chart a bit. It looks like in a past life and in early this life you went through some levels of abuse. Planetary aspects actually point to a slave-like person in a past life. Someone who was censored, ridiculed, and abused. You learned incredible inner emotional strength from this experience. You also suffer from a great deal of self-sabotage from this, especially in your relationships and self-expression.

Another off-shoot of this, is that as a slave you didn't have to provide necessities for yourself. You weren't allowed a career of your choice. The opposing factor of this in your 8th house, also suggests in later life you will be a beacon of light to your community. Lawyer, politician, community doctor, organizer.. etc. It's a very meaningful role to play, very big sign... BUUUT to get there from here, it's a lot of work. You need to focus on the thing that likely brings you the most anxiety- your financial independence. If you have not yet in life become financially stable, that is your absolute first step. To do this, you're gonna have to over-come a lot of this mental head games you have been taught, you're gonna have to remember that you do have purpose. And for the love of god- be aware how hard you are on yourself. Not only is this clear in your chart, it's clear in your post. You are so quick to see nothing in yourself. Please see this and build awareness around this tendancy and do your best to fall less victim to it.

You have Sagittarius rising, which means you're an incredible thinker, and you are prone to get some occult knowledge. This actually does favor the later-life read of you being a community organizer type archetype. It could point to a teacher-- but who knows what topic you will teach. It will be high-minded though, you may be a professor or in a well established resource.

You're also REALLY REALLY generous of the mind. You are really down to let go of issues and move on. Moon is exaulted in Taurus which means-- well by god you actually have a lot of tools to handle your depression. Jupiter is a big symbol of higher learning (rules saggitarius) it being next to the moon shows you probably find a lot of solace in higher learning. OOPS forgot to read your sun is also in sag- sun represents career, ya get like 60 vague points to becoming a teacher in that alone XD

What you need to do is as follows: When you feel bad, learn something new or just totally focus on your work. Spend more time learning & working than wallowing. That way you'll be adding on to your whole scope of what you're gonna be doing here in life rather than ya know, back tracking in the same patterns you've been trapped in.

TL; DR You're gonna do a lot of great things for a lot of people. Get over it! XD kisses!

The house location of a natal planet can change
dependent on the house system chosen

and when using Whole Sign Houses

natal Sagittarius Sun and Sagittarius Venus are both in 1st House

easily verify that fact at astro.com's Extended Chart Selection Page
there, fourteen of the more popular house systems currently in use including WHOLE SIGN are available options
Placidus is simply the default
to view for yourself how that works in practice
screate your natal chart using Whole Sign Houses option
then create the same natal chart but this time using the Placidus option

If house systems change the position of the planets, then how can you see the difference? Isn't there a way to determine which house system is superior? For example a Venus in the 6th is clearly not the same as a Venus in the 7th.

My opinion is that you are what you are, unless you are really, seriously blinded to your own shortcomings, and I rather doubt that. Therefore, the astrology either accurately reflects who you are, or it doesn't. And if it seems like it doesn't, it could be a misreading or a reading that focuses too much on the negative aspects. Or perhaps a devotee of a different system will tell you to use that one, and if that works for you, I have no objection.

In short, please do not believe the chart over the reality you experience. If you feel good about yourself, continue to!

Why are you so bothered by the chart? Do you mind saying?

you are a double Sagittarius as we call it. Your chart ruler is Jupiter conjunct the Moon in Taurus in the 5th house. You do indeed have many planets in the 1st house and this is difficult to analyse except that who you appear to be is largely who you are. Not like some other people who have a persona or a mask that does not represent who they really are.

I would looking at Moon Jupiter in Taurus placement for an insight into your emotional being.

Astrology takes a lot of practise and experience to really get it right and I would be wary of reading about an aspect by itself that is not relevant to your whole chart.

You are at your Saturn return age and a good time to get into astrology.

Your chart is not strange as such or anything to be scared of. The chart is you, you are not the chart and looking at it does not change who you are. Remember that what other people see in you and say about you, is their projection and perspective.

For every chart, there's a whole spectrum on which somebody can manifest their energies. Otherwise, all the people born at the same time as you would be clones!

I see intuition (flashes of brilliance) in Sun-Uranus conjunction.

Religious/spiritual leanings - Sun in Sag, Moon conjunct Jupiter. Will attract women like that.

Creativity - Moon/Jupiter in Taurus, 5th house and opposite Venus (ruler of Taurus) the planet of art and beauty.

Quiet, gentle, imaginative thinker - Mercury/Neptune conjunct. Great for creative writing and all kinds of spiritual thought. Can also be psychic/mediumistic as Neptune dissolves boundaries.

Mars/Neptune square - giving in a sacrificial way, especially for family (Mars on 4th house cusp). Backed up by that bountiful Moon/Jupiter in 5th house of children.

Venus on cusp of 12th house - sweetly loving, Venus is at her highest expression when coupled with 'neptunian factors' which the 12th house is.

Actually sorry to take the forum but would you mind reading my chart and tell me what I was in my past lifetime? I really am curious and never had anyone tell me.

I actually have not been trained how to read into past lives to such detail. Such training is quite expensive, and those who are trained in it are not likely to do such things for free. I have only been taught to see the likely conditions of the most recent past life- and combining this with my astrological knowledge i can get it down to 1-3 'good guesses'. Over time I have found people I have given this reading to-- have been to a hypnotist/tarot/past life 'specialist' (astrology, or other weird traditions that have methods of seeing) and one of my guesses based on the conditions that are in place/amount of people affected (like slavery was HUGE)-- they tend to be pretty 'good' guesses. The same conditions though could allow for someone who was say, a rich daughter who was then married off to a rich husband- never having the oppertunity to form her own career. I am still learning, but there are signs to abuse which gave the slavery idea some extra points, so i went with that guess XD. I do recommend past-life hypnotherapy, I have heard some very miraculous stuff coming from that corner of hypnotherapy.

In Whole-sign, a double Sagittarian in H1 (Identity), which is very fortunate. Everything in Capricorn moves to Assets (H2), also fortunate. Moon and Jupiter providing stability in H6. The House-method really is important in understanding oneself, so it's up to Imperial to learn enough to decide the right one.
