legowelt - to the homeland
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8RnenuNVAw
a favourite piece from his latest album of techno tracks.

red zebra - I can't live in a living room
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhCLwGt-mM4
an old european post punk record from the 80's

oneohtrix point never - stone of spiritual understanding
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYOZ36qqweI
weird glitchy noise/ambient, keep the speakers low if you listen to this it gets quite loud and harsh 3 mins in.

slint - good morning captian
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBE2EUT34aY
a really powerful emotional piece which slowly builds and progresses with a great storytelling aspect to the lyrics.

emeli sande - heaven
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=883yQqdOaLg
I like this, its a bit more poppier than what I usually listen to ,reminds me of old early 90's dance and massive attack.

pretty cool. I think i've heard some of their stuff a while back including that track, didn't realise they did a video.

Originally released on August 29, 2011 as a single and also appears on Willies latest album which was released last May 11th. I wouldn't have ever figured Willie covering one of Coldplays' tunes...but he does it quite nicely. [I hear that it was first seen in theatres accompanied by a very interesting short film as a trailer...which I'm going to try to track down.]

WILLIE NELSON ~ "THE SCIENTIST"

...and Willie always seemed to write a tune just right for the times...and He has still got that genius... at least I think so.

Willie Nelson ~ "Come On Back Jesus" [and Pick Up John Wayne On the Way]..With Lukas Nelson & Micah Nelson.

...and speaking of Kirby Jones [deceased proprietor of the Sutter Street Saloon... Folsom, Calif., which was one of the greatest music clubs I ever encountered] a chap that played there quite frequently...and thankfully still with us and playing...Chris Cain ...Album; "Late Night City Blues", song; "Woman Don't Need"[/B]. & Album;"Somewhere Along The Way", song; "Trouble Making Woman".
...some of the best blues guitar and vocals I've ever heard live...went to see him every chance I got when He was in town.

...or Joe Louis Walker playing "City of Angels" [the best song I've ever heard about L.A. ...where I grew up.]
...Joe played at the Saloon a number of times...

...and Ron Hacker and the Hacksaws...also played there a number of times...oh to get back the CD I had of his "I Got Tatooed"...the title cut done live here...
