No, didn't run across that one. The Romans considered Venus their ancestor, through Aeneas, son of Aphrodite and a mortal, Trojan prince. Greco-Roman lore has many trysts between mortals and immortals.

should be
beneficial in some way.

Nuke-powered spacecraft :)
JETSON was first mentioned in late 2022
and officially inaugurated in January 2023
under a series of solicitations from AFRL.
Both of these solicitations called on industry suppliers for
"..spacecraft concepts and design descriptions that employ nuclear fission reactors,
electric, or hybrid propulsion subsystems, and related support systems
in critical areas such power conversion, PMAD aka power management and distribution
on-orbit mobility, thermal regulation, deployable structures,
radiation shielding, and electronic hardening.."

AFRL's ambitions, as Lt. Col. Tommy Nix told the American Nuclear Society during a virtual panel
on September 9, for nuclear fission is to expand space missions, especially those of the Space Force
beyond geosynchronous Earth orbit - GEO
which is approximately 36,000 kilometers and the outermost orbit regularly utilized by military satellites.

"As we move farther and farther out from what our current mission set is,
we'll need higher power to cover the bigger volumes - of space.." he said,
noting that the service is planning "..new architectures
- providing a force presence across the new parts of space
as we expand outside of the GEO belt.."

In summary Lockheed Martin got awarded 33 million dollars
to develop nuclear powered rockets by the Space Force
and these news couldn't be more space battles if they'd tried.
