I recall the last time I ever voted Republican was for G.W.Bush 1st term. When I watched the Tora-Bora (Afghanistan) firefight for 2 days on TV, I finally threw my hands up in disgust and realized we had been had by Bush. He allowed for a 48 hour ceasefire which allowed both the Mullah (Omar, the 1 eyed shiek) and Bin-Laden to escape out of the cave complex where they had been cornered. After this, I never looked back, tearing up that voter's card realizing how easily we can be fooled.
His whole plot centered on getting the oil from Iraq, nothing more, and even said as much when he said "Oh, Bin Laden? I don't even think about him anymore!"
