how do you view house placements in sidereal charts?

In sidereal charts i cannot see a place where you can locate your house placements - on the astrodiesnt site it only displays the whole chart(houses and all) for the 'tropical' charts.

Does anyone know how to view the houses? Or are they the same as in your tropical chart?

On astrodienst you can use the drop down menu and choose any house system listed for your sidereal chart: just choose fagan/bradley (sidereal) or lahiri (rashi sidereal) for the basic format, and then one of the house systems from the drop down menu, and the chart will be erected.

There is basically (1) Western Sidereal Astrology as well as (2) Vedic Sidereal Astrology

Choosing Whole Sign Houses creates a specifically Indian Vedic/Jyotish chart

There is also Western Sidereal astrology which uses Campanus, Placidus, Koch et al http://www.westernsiderealastrology.com/

Yes, and remember that the original house (bhava) format for jyotish (prior to the 7th century) was whole sign (just like in the West) 90+% of Vedic astrology uses a modification of Equal House, but a small number of Vedic practitioners (mainly among the Jaimini branch) continue to use the ancient whole sign format.

It would be interesting, for those so motivated, to try applying whole sign to Western (Fagan/Bradley) Sidereal...
