Client: "So tell me about myself!"
Hidden Request: "Stroke my ego, gently caress my emotions and mind-***** against the wall until I believe whatever you say."

Client: "So can you tell me how to get [X sign] to date me?"
Hidden Request: "You are my dating coach and must give me IKEA-style instructions on how to seduce them."

Client: "Can look at this person's chart and mine and tell me why they treat me like trash?"
Hidden Request: "VALIDATE ME."

Client: "Look at my chart and the chart of my bf/gf/possible fwb or one-night-stand and tell me what the sex would be like?"
Hidden Request: "You're also an exotica writer or so mystical that you are a pornomancer and you can just look at a synasty chart and tell how things will go down in pornographic detail AND if they'll cuddle, call the next day or purpose marriage after sleeping with them five times."

House summed it up with his infamous credo about how “everybody lies”.

Same goes for astrologers as goes for doctors; the person you’re dealing with isn’t telling you the whole story because they’re embarrassed or something and you have to read between the lines to figure it out.

I think a lot of people want synastry readings because they’re having an affair or some kind of shitty relationship...they have nowhere else to turn. They want validation — to be told that their relationship is twin flame or they were past life lovers...love makes people crazy. And those crazies keep astrologers in business.

That said, of course plenty of normal people use astrology and synastry to see what potential a relationship has and have a better understanding.

I know of some astrologers who require both parties consent for synastry readings and I think it’s a good idea. It sets some boundaries in place and keeps the “twin flame chasers” at bay.

What about astrologers who are twin flame chasers when it comes to clients, what about astrologes who are convincing their clients they were past life lovers?

About twin flame chaser “astrologers”...they’re outta their effing minds, like many shrinks out there. It’s like a form of astrological countertransference. Unethical.

As for saying that their clients were past life lovers...I don’t have a problem with that. IMO, we most often attract people based on past life karma. That said, just because you have a past life connection to someone doesn’t mean you’ll stay together or that it’s a big deal. It’s just how the universe functions. You may have been lovers with someone in a past life (or not) BUT you’re likely meeting again to work out some stuff you messed up on during your last go around. More than likely, the relationship will come with an expiration date. The problem isn’t astrologers talking about past lives — the problem is that people misinterpret reincarnation as something romantic. It isn’t. It’s a fact of life (often an unpleasant one if you get a past life reading on your natal and hear how you ******* up in your prior incarnation.)

The “Twin Flame” myth is a load crappola.

Past life stuff is legit — it’s a tool to understand what we need to work through to evolve spirituality and grow.
