No they aren't the way of the future.

His philosophies were tried during the 20th century and failed. Utterly failed, ending up in famine, poverty and death for millions of people.
"Democratic socialism" is the reason for the poverty in south america.

We've had it here, U.S. style, since FDR, with Kennedy, Johnson, and even Nixon(!) making it work even better for us. It's called the social-safety-net, which does rely on taxation, but doesn't prevent ambition, hard work and fortunate circumstances from enabling anyone from amassing a fortune. Must be something about the Spirit of 76, the U.S. mindset, that makes it possible here and not in other places.

Bernie Sanders will establish a new era of socialism, i.e. leninist/marxist beliefs.
University educated people are the forefront of this movement, and due to their higher education levels, understand the nature of politics and human issues, and are more compassionate and empathic than any other generation.

Many people have marched in revolutionary themed parades.
This is the future

To vote Bernie is to be the most CARING and COMPASSIONATE human being. The key word is EMPATHY.

EMPATHY and our LOVE for our people should guide politics and practice. Otherwise the world will be a dark place.

Why do you insist on resisting? You cannot win.
Academia is on our side. The media is on our side. Politics are on our side. And the children are being taught this and they actually want to make the world a better place.

Keep fighting, but it will get you no where. :)

I hope you’re well read on Marx. You’ll be reciting him soon during the morning pledges haha!

I realize you're having fun equating a strong U.S. Capitalist economy with a comprehensive social-safety-net with Soviet Communism, but some might actually be misled by the erroneous comparison.

Bernie is just including social-safety-net protection for more people, not changing the nature of the U.S. Capitalist economic system.

Yeah yeah, he’s just a tool for the ultimate goal.
I hope you know what the people are itching for. :)

Freedom TO balanced with Freedom FROM. Not a dictatorial regime in which Greed trumps Need, and everyone has to bow down to our "Glorious Leader"--That's what Trump-supporters are itching for.

Isn't the Corona virus just another version of the Flu?

Well think of it this way

We have natural immunity or some familiarity with the flu because it’s common and happens

corona is brand new so if it hits it will hit hard because the body has no familiarity
Death rate is 2x compared to the flu.

The "Spanish Flu" of 1918 killed about 50 million worldwide, and about 9 million in Spain. It was an H1N1 strain of the virus. Now it's believed that it originated in the U.S.

As long as a population has adequate food and shelter, and a relatively healthy immune system, it's not going to be severely affected by a new version of the flu. NOT a good time to be cutting people off of Food Stamps! What goes around comes around, and the rich will be affected as much as the poor.
