The five string banjo and a little guitar.
Here's my dad, Tony, and his brother, Al...originally the Altones, but they lost that name because they didn't trademark it...and so they became the "Beverly Hills Painters"... opened for Aretha Franklin in 1961 at the Pan Pacific Auditorium...my dad played bass, my uncle Al guitar...that's my dad doing a natural falsetto... it's Doo Wop ...well. they were a couple of Wops...what did you expect... Uncle Al singing lead...
