Donald Trump will be impeached.

House Trumpublicans are becoming unhinged. They broke the rules and staged a rowdy sit-in to prevent impeachment testimony!

They demanded a "behind closed doors testimony" be made public. They also know full well, the arguments used by Republican Trey Gowdy during the "behind closed doors" depositions and why they would use same.

Color them a) hypocritical or b) stupid and not up to date on impeachments in general.

“I think two closed-door sessions this past week on the Senate and House side with the intelligence committees were very helpful,” Gowdy said.

Trumpublicans are attempting to squirm through loopholes, and are clutching at straws. This is the equivalent of Bill Clinton's infamous claim that he "didn't have s*x with" Monica, because it wasn't how he defined "s*x".

Childish behaviors once again displayed by the Republicans in the Impeachment hearings today. Devin Nunes who is the "ranking member" for the minority, used his time to try and sneakily have the witnesses give up the so-called whistleblower. The lawyer for the witness had to step in and remind him that the Chairman of the Impeachment committee (Adam Schiff) has already admonished that the Whistleblower is protected by law.

Nunes, as a child would be, cowered when admonished and simply slithered away into his chair. End of his questioning. :whistling:

What about the 6th amendment of the Bill of Rights and the right to be confronted with the witnesses against the accused? Why is that not relevant here?

Trump was invited by Nancy Pelosi, both in person and/or in writing whichever suited him. He said he'll "think about it seriously" :rightful:
As for "rights" of the accused, he hasn't yet been impeached. that comes later and then he can come with his lawyers and squawk all he wants to in front of the prosecutor, the judge and the jury i.e. the Senate.

note: Although most of the lawyers he has had in the past don't want him to open his mouth, because he lies so much.

I suppose the rules and laws concerning Whistleblowers (ones who simply point "there is where to look"....are complicated. What I don't understand is what do they want to do once they know who he or she is? Junior already claimed as did Fox TV they know who (he) is. So what??
Most of what was reported has already been determined to be true, (thats why 9 witnesses this week alone!) All or most 1st hand information.

We should be thanking this "whistleblower" for his or her courage to point at the right direction saving both time and money (taxpayer money)
