Mars-Neptune aspects: pornstars or sex addicts?

Love to learn the real manifestation of Mars & Neptune as it's linked with hypnotic personalities, diffused assertion/aggression but an insatiable sexual appetite or personality that gets hooked on addictions.

I know someone with mars sq neptune with a mars in leo who is very provocative & like a pornstar loves sex. Definitely alot of charisma carrier too.

How does it come about for you folks?

Interesting thought. You don't think it has more to do with the Mars in Leo? I have Mars semi-square Neptune, and hmm, I can't say I fall into either category. Although I was told that aspects between the two are supposed to be a sign of addiction. So maybe it depends on what signs they are in, and what houses?
I am very altruistic, fighting for every cause and underdog I can…which could be a different take on the aspect. My Neptune is in the 11th house in Sagittarius?

mars neptune i think is one of the classic aspects of escapism in any aspect

i enjoy the lord of the rings trilogy and believe in the myth of true love and other things

i can watch the alien films and really get into them as real

i remember i was 8 yrs old and reading enid blytons brownies book lying on the couch and thinking it was real LOL or rather wishing i could transport myself into that world, i remember wishing and wishing hard but never happened hahahahaha now

in adult life ive often just hopedand wished things would sort themselves out by praying or wishing, in other words never took direct action myself with problems, that was not good

i also like a drink, makes me relax wheni see what the real world is full of

but never did drugs with my trine was spared i guess

i grapple with religion and spirituality and not sure what to make of any of it

Haha, that's so funny, I also used to do that. Especially those books, the Faraway Tree etc. I even tried to copy what they did thinking it would work

And I have to say, I still spend loads of time in my head making up imaginary stories. (I have written a fantasy book though, so not all bad) I got that Mars action out of that Neptune thinking

Quite a few swimmers have this aspect. The great Australian Olympic swimmer, Dawn Frasier, has Mars square Neptune, Ian Thorpe has it in a wide conjunction. This makes sense as energy (Mars) is put into water (Neptune).

It also comes up in the charts of sportsmen fairly frequently - for example, cricketer Ian Chappell has a conjunction and the Warne brothers have it in exact sextile. I did a search on my Sports file and found 33.61% of sports people have this aspect - a high percentage.

Film maker Scott Hicks has Neptune conjunct Ascendant opposite Mars conjunct Descendant.

I found that 33% of the charts in my Music and Dance section had this combination, which is also a high percentage.

These careers make sense as it is physical activity (Mars) put into imaginative endeavours (Neptune). I think it gives sports people dexterity and a sort of flair for their sport.

I have the aspect in trine and have never liked either alcohol or drugs. I was a swimmer in my youth and loved dance, gymnastics, acrobatics, yoga etc., I was very flexible physically.

I have Mars conjunct Neptune, Mercury and the Ascendant in Scorpio. I am a composer for Film and Tv. Suits me very well. Not overly sexually, but if Im with someone who is, I am able to merge with their levels of desires... what ever they may be. I am extremely fluid and have had problems knowing what are my desires and what are the other persons.

I have been known to manifest just about anything... just by dreaming it. I am very magnetic... yet can be invisible and hidden..( 12 house sun)

When I was younger I did lots of drugs... but by 30 I lost interested as i channeled my energy into my music. I can be addictive in love though!

Thor Heyerdahl, known for his books (like Kon-Tiki) on his daring sailing exploits, had Mercury-Mars square Neptune. He was married three times, and had five children.

I think Neptune-Mars often does play out as love of the sea.

Venus conjunct mars in pisces square neptune sag in 1st with healthy-strong sexual appetite but not remotely into pawn (have quite the aversion to it, in fact). Big drug fiend in the past though, and particularly sexually malleable under those influences.

I understand how sex addiction could be a problem, most definitely. But *thankfully* (yeah right) for me, my body dysmorphic problems make this a non-issue when I'm clean. Inebriated it was a different and more sordid tale.

I find the stellium on your Ascendant really interesting. You know the theory that when there are/is a planet on one’s ascendant it can indicate birth trauma or at least some sort of memorable incident at birth. With your entire stellium on your Ascendant, did anything memorable happen during your birth?

İt's the focal point of a small talent triangle with Pluto and Jupiter involved as sextiles.

Are you feeling sexually insatiable?

A friend of mine has neptune conj mars in sagi. (he has also venus in sagi and a sagi ascendant with sun in first house too.). he is a musician and very talented too. Definitely a magnetic personality. He starts to play guitar and people just gather around. he writes music. he also studied sports education and has an ability to get a huge group of students up exercising. quite amazing. he did do drugs but was not an addict.

equally though I know someone who has neptune/mars/jupiter in sagi conjunctions. no musical talent and also does not do sport.(which I think is unfortunate) I think possibly in her youth she may have had a lot of partners. Not sure about her addictions have wondered whether she drinks. her life is a bit 'land of make believe' unfortunately.

I love reading and also loved escapist books when I was a kid.

novelist, music writer, film maker, making dreams coming true, water sports, sexual phantasies, sometimes insecure and confused actions. these are all things I remember and can relate to.

Western chart, Placidus system, I have natal 1st house Mars Virgo & Venus Libra conjunction, both squared by Neptune Sagittarius at 4th house, Jupiter rules Neptune also at 4th and conjuncts IC & SN. Angular to angular aspects, square from Neptune, but Neptune is ruled by Jupiter in his own sign at high focus.

Virgo Ascendant, ruler of Virgo AC and 10th cusp Gemini, Scorpio Mercury in 3rd house received sextile from Mars and Moon, Mars/Venus both trine Moon.

I work as a nurse for a short 4 years now was trained for 4 years also, daily living surrounded by medicines, alcohol as disinfectant, looking after drug addict and alcoholic. I have seen and touched naked bodies, alive or dead more than prostitutes and pornstars. Mars/Neptune is giving medication (Neptune) through injection (Mars) for example, also can mean dissolving antibiotics and giving it through infusion with pump. Venus/Neptune is giving love (Venus) through ideal standard (Neptune), my patients do hit, curse, as well as poo, wee, blood; they are carrier of all kinds of infections. Square is stressful, challenging and impulsive.

My hospital is a Catholic hospital, Jupiter rules Neptune in Actions 1st/4th, Mars/Neptune square is the trigger aspect of my bundle pattern. Neptune also rules all the illusions, magics, as well as occults and religions. Yes I am a lover of all these.

I am 2nd of 4 daughters; mom says I was very late. Doc told her to drink castor oil... next morning she almost birthed me on way to hospital. lol... don't remember, but apparently it was a close one

According to my boyfriend/teacher, in predictive work, square represents Serial Events and Actions.
