Will my health be ok in Thailand

I struggled where to put this - travel or health, but opted for health as that is the issue. I hope that is ok.
I am supposed to travel to Thailand tomorrow to volunteer with the elephants. However, for the last few weeks I have been having a lot digestive cramping pain issues that don't seem to be going away. I have eaten almost nothing the last week and am thirsty and tired. I think it is a diverticulitis flare up, but don't know for sure. Yes, I saw an MD. Monday, but I live in Amsterdam and I am a bit of spoiled American. WHen I had a much milder flare up two years ago in the states, I was on pain meds almost immediately, given a CT scan, the whole nine yards. In Amsterdam, I am not so convinced he believes me I have diverticulitis. He tested my feces for a bacterial infection, tested my blood, did a whole lot of palpitating despite it hurting like hell. Of course, the stool sample cam back with no bacteria. He did not test for blood despite I said I had blood in my stool. No ED visits here unless you go via an ambulance. So not sure what to do at this point. If I stayed I would continue to push the issue and no doubt eventually referred to a specialist. That could take a few weeks. So my question if I go to Thailand will I be ok - just uncomfortable. I am at the point I am uncomfortable here or there. Of course it is a big financial loss if I don't go Tryng not to go down that dark path of fear because I see blood in my stool. Oh he did prescribe antibiotics, but not sure that will help and per Google the type he prescribed is not typical for gastro issues. Of course that is google. So again, will I be ok if I get on the plane to Thailand.
Much gratitude!

Excuse me, it wouldn't be wise to travel that long with your current health conditions. Medical are more advanced there in Europe, we don't have very efficienct medical in here [South Eastern Asia]. But the problem is you're going tomorrow.

What if you stay there? Apart from financial loss.

ps: I'm not seeing from your map, but based on your current conditions.

Mars ruling the 6th of health/illness will be squaring Saturn ruler of the 9th of foreign destinations.
Also, Uranus (9th co-ruler) is squaring moon's nodes.
Part of fortune is sitting in the 4th house of home.
I wouldn't risk it if I were you.
The 2nd house of money is ruled by moon, and holds the North node, so you may be able to get some of your money reimbursed if you claim a health emergency, which this is. Moon of the 2nd is sextile Pluto, co-ruler of the 6th of health/illness.
Have you been to Thailand before? Do you know it?

I would wait a few weeks for an appointment with a specialist. Unless I have a fever or something severe going on

I have not been to Thailand. I hear people go there for medical procedures a lot.
Not that is my intent, but it doesn’t sound like the medical care is dismissal if I need an MD

I’m really torn what to do for sure because I could just end here waiting for a specialist appointment and more tests. I don’t have a fever. Nothing came up in my blood work other than my body is fighting an infection. Hard to say

I go there every year. The medical assistance is quite good, and there are English and American doctors as well, so this is not necessarily an obstacle. You have to pay, but if you have insurance you can be reimbursed.
However, depending on where you are, there can be a risk of infections, insects, contaminated food, hygiene problems, other invasive health problems that you have not come across in the past, in the states or in Europe. Your immune system at the moment is apparently weak, so your system will not have a lot of protection, and you will be more vulnerable than usual.
Check very carefully where you will be staying with the group: will it be in an isolated area? You mention elephants, they are usually in the jungle areas. Will you be close to medical assistance that you can speak with... remember not everyone speaks English, they speak Thai. If you need medication, will you be close to a pharmacy or health centre?
Thailand is a beautiful country, the Thai are lovely people, and there are some spectacular five star places that are breathtaking. It would be a pity to have an unfortunate health crisis there.
As an additional check, you could do a relocation chart of your natal chart in Thailand to see how your chart works there.

Seems you are caught between a rock and a hard place. And the chart somehow confirms that. L1 applying to L9 which would suggest the journey will happen. But L9 combust and L1 USB going combust which would suggest impediments or even cancellation of the journey and also a worsening of your situation in general (no matter how you eventually decide). L1 USB may explain your current lack of energy. And since L1 is moving further into combustion, this may get only worse.

Thank you for this. I will be with a yoga teacher who has been there many many times so is familiar with the area. The food we will be eating is vegan. I did alert her of my situation and said I need to maintain a very bland diet - so she knows. I trust her. I won't be on my own. Good idea on the relocation chart. Although I have NO idea how to read a relocation chart, but will post in the appropriate section.

Yes, Virgo rules digestion, more specifically the intestines, and it is very diet conscious. It is also the natural sign of the 6th house, and represents health, medicine, minor illnesses. Virgo is Yin, which I add since you follow yoga.
The ascendent is you and the way you present yourself when you are in Thailand, and is only applicable in Thailand.
Note you also have Pluto and Uranus in a conjunction in the 1st house, squaring mars in the 4th. Chiron (wounded warrior ) is opposing Uranus.
The 6th house of the relocation chart is ruled by Aquarius and Saturn. This is quite interesting in that the original horary chart you posted has Aquarius ruling the 9th of foreign places. So we have basically moved that sign from foreign places to the house of health and medicine when you are in Thailand! This is also a verification of the original horary chart.
Returning to the relocation chart, the 9th house of foreign places is ruled by Venus, just into the 12th house of restrictions and hospitals.
Note, all of the planets are in late signs here, except for two: Venus and Saturn, which are in early signs, inconjunct from the 12th and 8th, and representing foreign places and health.
The moon of the relocation chart is in the 6th house, again giving emphasis to health matters.
It occurred to me also that the American embassy in Bangkok has a list of doctors who practice in the country, in case of need.
In Chiang Mai there is the Chiang Mai RAM Hospital where you can find an American doctor, or at least someone who has studied in the states, in case of need.
If you do decide to leave, wish you a safe and healthy journey and stay. Let us know how things go. Wishing you well.

Truly thank you so much! Much appreciated the insight on the chart and Thailand information. I will make my final decision in the morning - see if the antibiotics make a difference. Deeply grateful! I will keep you posted.

HI
I wanted to provide an update! I am back from Thailand! What an amazing place. I am not sure why I haven't gone sooner. An amazing experience. Made some great new friends from the trip and was able to see elephants in their natural habitat. Fortunately, I made it without any health incident. I was super careful about the food. Ate super light and no spice. It was a vegetarian diet so that helped. I've lost 12 pounds. Ate an enormous amount of Tom Kha. Definitely something is still not right. I still have pain in my left side and overall feel off. So have made yet another MD appointment. I am thankful, I didn't have to test the medical system in Thailand and I am glad I had the experience. Thank you all for your feedback. I would be curious to the thoughts of the horary in hindsight.

The slogan is Amazing Thailand, and I completely agree. Very happy that you appreciated it, and that you were well, and plan to return.
Thanks for getting back, I had thought about you, wishing you well on your trip. Perhaps by being forewarned you were able to take precautions to protect yourself health wise.
The moon/jupiter/neptune configuration in good aspect with mars apparently assured you good company.
Pluto/uranus in the ascendent squaring mars is honestly puzzling, but better that way.
Good luck with your cures, hope you get back to perfect health as quickly as possible.
