Currently
in the requirement for milk
mother cows are forcibly impregnated
babies are stripped from their moms
and the cows are milked.

Normally a cow lives 20+ years :smile:
but in the dairy industry they only live 4 to 5 years.

Once the mother is done and can't produce milk anymore
she is sent of to slaughter, often still pregnant.
Fetuses from the slaughtered cows
are used for research
and very soft suede.
Female calves stripped from their mother
will repeat their mother's cycle.
Male calves will be veal
or are just left to die.
The mother cow is intensely aware that she has a baby
that is not with her
and will cry for her baby.
This is the truth of our consumption
and any store bought milk.
