....sailing shoes required... Good Schtufff, Maynard!

p.s. the Cosmos is trying to tell you its secrets...
One thing I know is that the most simple beautiful truths always slip ones mind minutes after having discovered them.... They seem to like to live in the moment, haha.

But mmmm, having done a lot of contemplation with the rather lengthy opening of the key tarot spread..... At least I'm convinced there is more than, gosh what to call it...tons of "imaginary meaning" that one often finds when one is 'down'...
I think strife is the perfect time for learning and to gain wisdom. Only most people in such situations choose retarded simple "truths" because they don't make the effort to move a bit further... if I may be so blunt & elitist.

For all we could've done, and all that could've been....

...and I arose at some time well past sunrise...amid the clutter that used to be my apt... Old Saint Nick came and partied hard and left raindeer poop tracked across the ceiling and down the walls... somewhere under a pile of empties lies a stocking full of a half eaten bean burrito, bottle caps and two turtle doves...the little drummer boy is whimpering in the corner ,,,his drum smashed and his "rum-pa-pum-bum" feeling mighty sore....

...so I pour a cup of kindness and resolve to do nothing more strenuous today than...

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and auld lang syne

For auld lang syne, me boy,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

And surely ye’ll be your pint-stowp !
and surely I’ll be mine !
And we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, me lass,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

We twa hae run about the braes,
and pu’d the gowans fine ;
But we’ve wander’d mony a weary fit,
sin auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, me friends,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidl’d i' the burn,
frae morning sun till dine ;
But seas between us braid hae roar’d
sin auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, me clan,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere !
and gie's a hand o’ thine !
And we’ll tak a right gude-willy waught,
for auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, me boy,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

with gratitude and wee little respect to Rbt. Burns

4 from the greatest album that never was.... Brian Wilson's [what should have been His seminal work] "Smile".

...we were all sooo much younger then [the Beach Boys are all 5 to 10 years older than I] ...Southern California rocked to the gentle beats [like gentle waves lapping at your heart] of the Beach Boys all through the 60s and into the 7os...
