There are reasons why The Planets has influenced so many composers of science fiction and fantasy film scores. It explores human consciousness against backdrops of outer space and ancient myth, with almost alien harmonic and orchestral effects evoking contemporary primitivism and machine music.

Student Rush tickets are available for $10/$20, depending on the section.*
Full-time high school and college students with valid (current date) identification. Come to the Walt Disney Concert Hall Box Office two hours prior to the concert. Promotion is subject to availability. Please call 323.850.2000 after 2pm on the day of the performance to confirm availability. Seating is at the discretion of the Box Office. One ticket per ID, credit card and cash only.
*$20 tickets are in Front Orchestra, Orchestra or Orchestra East/West; $10 tickets are in Terrace, Terrace East/West, Balcony, Orchestra View or Terrace View sections; $10 tickets are also available in any section for Chamber, Green Umbrella and Organ recitals. Both prices will not always be available.
