Nodal Axis and Relocation

Hello everyone!

Next year I will be moving from the US to London for 3 years minimum. I have been doing research on how this will change my transits/solar return/natal chart.

It seems there are two theories in regards to using a relocation chart.

One is that the natal chart does not change due to relocation because the chart's imprint is created from the birth location. But I should instead use the new location for a solar return chart. The second theory is that the natal chart is adjusted accordingly to where you are relocating.

Let's use the second theory for the sake of curiosity. My question is how does this affect the north (karmic goals/path) and south (karmic past) nodes if we adjust the natal chart?

NN in US = 10th house sag (also conjunct MC)
SN in US = 4th house gemini

NN in UK = 5th house sag
SN in UK = 11th house gemini

My first impressions of the relocation chart are that the new location would produce heavy 4th and 5th house characteristics. Exactly the opposite of what my current north node says I should be focusing on in this lifetime.

Any thoughts?
