Not to mention the overall emotional feel. The inauguration looked more like a funeral.

PS. update on the Italian scene.
Matteo Renzi, who was named in the Leonardo link, is now out.
The Conte government gained a majority and is now continuing, but on such a thin thread that no one believes it will last for long. He needed votes from the right to make it through.
Because of the Covit crisis several senators thought it best to keep things stable for the time being.

I did see this video earlier. The problem is that nothing ever comes of these findings.

in preparation for the inauguration.
The total number of them is 25,000

which exceeds the total number of U.S. troops stationed in Afghanistan
Iraq and Syria.


Furthermore, each soldier has to be vetted by the FBI
not once
but twice
sometime three times!


Congress, and the Supreme Court added guardrails
surrounded by electrified barbed wire, to keep people away.

But looking at the photos, doesn't it look more like a prison? :smile:
