pluto mercury in scorpio, manipulation?

what characteristics would person with pluto mercury same degree in scorpio 8th house ,
Ascendant pisces and mars cancer, would he be manipulative? what do you think?
Where are the other planets though?

Only considering three planets and the ascendant doesn't give much scope for analysis

I have basically answered this question on another thread, but -

IMO, the manipulation is not a necessary and given outcome. You have a lot of years before you reach even your Saturn Return - a major maturing milestone - so in the meantime you have the opportunity to work on this behaviour not becoming a habit for you. It arises out of anxiety.

*edit* here is the whole chart

Welcome to AW,

I call this one 'verbal lacerations' great for research, indepth analysis but quite capable of verbally tearing someone to shreds. Hopefully, only used very sparingly:whistling:

Pluto is all about *control and domination* not necessarily manipulation. I would perhaps look to neptune your chart ruler in that stelllium in Cappi.

Neptune conj venus = rose tinted glasses and deception, illusions and confusionns, not just romance it also is connected to finances, so stay away from get rich quick schemes. Venus conj Uranus typical divorce aspect. Moon conj uranus suggests sudden unexpected breaks with mother & women. So I would focus on interpreting your stellium, this holds the key

I agree that the stellium in Capricorn is the key to much of what you experience.

For me, the attention deficit is Uranus, while the `I'm not sure what is actually going on' is Neptune. Both are conjunct Moon & Venus, so you have a lot of confusion and changeability in your life.

I have Mercury conj. pluto in scorpio too, but in the 6th house... I get the impression that this aspect makes you think in a intense way. That you can get obsessed with certain things. Its also a good aspect for getting to the bottom of things, because it gives you some kind of endurance in your thinking. There could also be problems like appearing intellectually superior to others or using hurtful words in some cases. They could be either very direct or secretive. For me Im more direct and hate when people dont say straight away what they mean... Also you may be good at reading people psychologically, its a good aspect for psychoanalysis and detective work.

I think for love relationships you should look at venus/mars, 7th house and rulers of the 7th.

Hello.

My mercury is in scorpio too along with pluto... But they are not conjuncting.

-Mercury in 9º of scorpio - 4th house
-Pluto in 21º of scorpio - 5th house

The combination you are talking (mercury pluto conj. in the same degree) seems very intense. That sounds a very paranoic mercury ready to go deeper and deeper in researchs and studies. It also seems a person who 'see' the reality. In contrast with mercury-neptune or mercury-moon (here i got the opposition), this 2 last aspects twist mind... make mind a bit infantil and dreamer... Mercury-pluto goes to the hard reality. Sometimes they can be very good watcher and very secretive, not trusting in people.
That's why it's associated with the mind of a detective, cause it can easily see what others don't want.

I share many of this traits but that's because my mercury is in scorpio.

If the conjunction happens in 8th then mercury would research about things associated with this house: tabus, sex, death, dark things...

Fragosa, the interesting subject of whether the outer planets are personal or not has been explored in detail at this thread http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39021 Are The Outer Planets Generational or Personal?

I use outer in readings. Persons who tell they don't influence us are wrong. Frag
You are entitled to your opinion, however, the influence of the outer planets is considered by many to be generational rather than personal. The subject is obviously a matter of opinion which is why I directed your attention to that thread of previous discussion http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum...ad.php?t=39021

mercury conjunct pluto people have just go to get on with it

they are spoken to by the dephts of their being that is all

you only have to listen to the depths of your soul

it normally gives you good advice and its up to you what you do with it

it also normally gives you a good ride

i dont have this aspect but i 3rd house of scorpio although my mercury is in libra but i have pluto hovering all over me in my chart and have had pluto transits alol over my planets for years and you dont ignore pluto

many people are scared of pluto but hes a soft bugger cos he gives you loads of time - maybe im thinking of saturn lol his best mate - my experience of pluto is like the godfather - this is it, chose now do or die, no one can live like that day to day thats why there are loads of planets beyond him lol - having said that pluto as well as being a total bas tard has been someone you can just smack in the face if they are wrong lol like all the scorpio males ive known in my life, ive smacked them down when i though they were gods, and found out they just were not god

quote from astrology.about.com "Pluto's mythology is often intermingled with the Greek Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, who took mortals down for an ordeal that was also an initiation. In astrology, we can find meaning in both, since out of the dark comes great treasure, but it requires journeying through the underworld." (i dont think that this is only for transits)

the underworld would be probably all the abuse on me, all the pain i felt and all the drugs i took, sometimes i feel like mouse for experiments.About the treasure i guess i will find it.

i figure out my exact time of birth, here is the correct chart

In the mythology Mercury was a God who travelled to the underworld and back. Like travelling to different levels of consciousness. Mercury was also the only one who could take on the info from Pluto and still remain "unaffected"... So I'm guessing with Mercury conj. Pluto in the 8th house or in Scorpio, for sure you will bring up to the surfaces some "dark secrets", hidden truths, fears, fobias etc. I think it gives a strong mind, but it could also be self-destructive with its bad sides.

Found this about Mercury:
"He was also the god who was able to travel back and forth between the underworld of Pluto and the upper world of gods and mortals. Thus, Mercury is a planet which allows us to traverse levels of consciousness and experience, to be a messenger within or without. A well-aspected Mercury in the horoscope can describe the potential for disseminating news and information from one level to another—between strata of personal consciousness, work hierarchies, social circles, etc."
