Can you find a Venus cazimi in Sagittarius recently?
Thanks
no mention on that link re: Venus cazimi in Sagittarius recently

There was a Mercury cazimi Oct. 27, 2016, in tropical Scorpio.
not Scorpio, Sagittarius and not Mercury, Venus

Give me a single source besides Henry Coley please
Do you know what a source means?

One is application in longitude
the other is application in latitude. . .

If application in latitude is from conjunction
then it is, when the two planets are in one sign
and they are equal in degrees in longitude
and in latitude
and are in the same direction
and one of the two eclipses the other....."

I'm seeing Mercury cazimi in tropical Scorpio on Oct. 27, 2016.

Venus cazimi this year on June 3rd, and with the 8 year cycle, there was one on June 5th in 2012.

I checked, there is no Venus cazimi in Sagittarius for the first third of this century at the very least.

No, I didn't read it carefully enough--only for the "Inferior" cazimi is Venus always retrograde.

The ancients preferred planets at the apogees, that is away from the Earth. This coincides with the direct phases. The modern heliocentric terms inferior and superior might be appropriate.

so that's longitude cazimi - not latitude as well

SO

on Jan.10th 2020

it`s gonna be a fatamorgana :w00t:

because Moon will be eclipsed = opposing Sun by latitude AND longitude.

and Mercury will "only" be conjunct Sun by degree and minute of longitude in tropical zodiac.

what a tricky planet !

so shat`s the difference between cazimi and Sun eclipse?

if both require involved planets to be conjunct both by latitude AND longitude?

The planets aren't large enough to block the Sun. They can be seen on the Sun as black spots, with Venus as a "beauty mark".

The (annular) eclipse last week also couldn't block the Sun. The Moon also has to be closer to the Earth, for there to be a total eclipse.

Right :innocent:

so alone the fact that something isn`t visible to the human eye ( like any bacteria, not to mention viruses etc. ! )

:pinched:

OR from a certain location (like e.g. Earth cazimi as seen from Mars, if it is astronomically possible)

doesn`t DENY the existence of this thing or phenomenon

So, for the eclipses, it's the Perigee, not the Apogee?

The perigee, there it is also faster, the perihelion of the Sun also helps slightly.

But it doesn't have to do that much with the distances, but rather with the total obscuration that causes enormous emanating amount of moisture, heat, dryness or cold by spilling it into the atmosphere.
